fifthhorsmen Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 in my opinion there are 2 main problems with curretn pyrotech. Keep in mind that im talking mostly about pve. problem 1: low single target dps. While it may not be the lowest spec currently in game its cornerstone rotation relies on a stationary conal/cleave which can easily be escaped from. flame thrower doesnt actualy do all that much damage despite again it being the corner stone to the rotation. problem 2: this was actualy mentioned in problem 1 is the clumsynes of flamethrower. while i admit its a great looking animation. but it is a times clumsy to aim and impractical on moving boss fights. possible solution: a possible solution for this could be to simply buff flamethrower more but this creates a to powerfull aoe. what i have in mind is a bit like rage/fury or in other words give a strong ability that is single target only. thus you have to make a choice either single target or aoe. due to this adding another ability to the system it would require for one of the 4 current ones to go away. the easiest would be flaming fist. the changes that this ability encompas could easily be put into another passive. animation wise i dont know if you can change animation through passives though. these are some possible changes that could streamline pyrotech
