you went for one extreme too the other now companions are under powered . there stats should be between what they are now and what they were. :mad: I liked it much better when I could gear them my shelf

I agree, my Lana went from crit healing me for 19k to crit healing me for 6k, that's over a 66% loss. I agree that the companions were a bit too strong, but cutting them down to a third of their strength seems a bit overzealous. Perhaps a 35 to 45% reduction would have been a better move although to be perfectly honest I don't think they should have been nerfed at all. If you're going to remove the ability for us to gear our companions, give us the base stat buff we had. I realize I am partially to blame for not voicing my opinion when the ranters complained companions were too strong, but the reality is they were fine before the nerf. Frankly my companion feels significantly less useful now which is quit saddening as that was a huge boon for me to come back and play the game. Please give us back our useful companions again.

Agreed. My companions pre-4.0 were tons better than they are currently at legacy presence, level 65 player toon, etc.

i agree totally used to be able to pretty much play the game on your own and now if the mobs your fighting get to be too much you die cause your companions heals don't do crap

I preferred gearing my companions also so I could make sure they were reliable. but now we can't add alacrity to our healing companions which every healer knows is the main stat a healer needs for faster heals.

Exactly. Particularly noticeable in the squishy ranged classes, because once your tank inevitably dies, all you can do it run, and you don't get far before they catch and smash you. No fun at all.
