LyonDavid Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I liked them, they never were a problem for anyone. If you didn't like the "godmode", just dismiss em' n that's it, have fun. Is the game impossible now? No. But it didn't need the change. Now consider people who can't solo H2s anymore, chances are they'll end up with the smarty kids that say stuff like "godmode companions", and then some people would rather not group (count me in, I'm sick of those supporting every little piece of "idea" BW has), if they find the content impossible, they'll leave. Then again, there are COUNTLESS bugs since DAY 1! (failing to receive some mails comes to mind, i.e.), bugs that INDEED affect EVERYONE and they're still there. So, don't take away stuff cause the elitist kids that need hardmode content to finally feel superior in something in their lives ask you to, give OPTIONS. Frankly, companions were just clones of each other now, you could've made dumb clones or something. I'm ending my sub too, but not for the companions, that really doesn't quite make it for me, I run every H2 n SF with guilgies anyway. I quit cause you released an expansion with now new endgame content, just the same old one, and it's so unbalanced it's ridiculous, some Tactical FPs are basically soloable, others are harder than HM, you couldn't even pull that right. I quit cause you released a patch to fix bugs and apparently didn't even try it, it broke EVERYTHING, I had to redownload the WHOLE CLIENT thanks to you, we're not beta testers. Same happened for those of us during KotFE early access, ridiculous amount of bugs, we basically beta tested for the masses that came a week later. I quit cause you launched an expansion with the companion changes as a FEATURE, yet apparently you NEVER tested them, otherwise it's unexplicable how you needed to change it so much just a couple weeks later. I quit cause the lag is insurmountable, spikes every minute! I quit cause the customer support... Wait, right, there's none. I quit cause you couldn't handle the NEW FEATURE of creating a level 60. I quit cause you didn't even have the decency to compensate us. Goodbye WoW wannabes, see you in Azeroth!

Sorry, your "TRUTH" just seems like more gimme gimme gimme mentality Game is still easiest MMORPG on market for 99% of the solo content There is ONE Heroic 2 now that offers up a challenge and you want the entire game gutted for all so you can walk through that 1 single H2 unopposed. Good luck with that. know plenty of casuals who are not at all effected by the companion change CASUALS are not the players having trouble adjusting to their companions coming outta god mode and there was bigger outcrys over the slot machines changes (loved it) and conquest crafting changes (hated it) and that didnt drive everyone away so neither will this change
