Yorioko Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I was seriously bored the other day and secided to just change the looks of my pvp set without using the "cosmetic" outfit designer. I had the little needed credits, time and really nothing else to do then to strip each part for the mods. And I discovered something rather strange...... when I had stripped the sets the set "bouns", awesome in PVE too that bonus by the way, was totally gone.... However, when I then added this to a "better looking" set from my Collection, THAT st now had the same set bonus. So my question is really...........how can it be that the bonus doesn't og With the armor...but With the modsifications added to it. And yes this sounds odd.
MrGoldsilver Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Set bonus is tied to the armoring, so that you can move the mods/armorings/enhancements into armor that looks cooler or is legacy armor, yet still turn in the armor piece to get the ranked set of gear That's why people say to never augment the pvp gear, since you can just move the mods/armorings/enhancements to a different set of armor.

The set bonus is actually tied to the "armor mod" piece in the gear... So you can rip all those Armor pieces out of the PVP gear and put it in any other customisable Armor shells and get your set bonus again... Just remember not to mix it with PVE ones in the same shell or it won't bolster the stats in WZs... Also once you have a full set you can min max the gear by buying other PVP enhancements or mods with your extra Comms... Because the set bonus is only tied to the "armor mod", this won't affect the set bonus
Yorioko Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 Oh and I tested the 208 pvp set in pve....it is actually FAR supperior to even 220 PVE........... the pve sets and the bonuses, sure they are cool.....they I am actually sure the bonuse follow the set and NOT the armoring hehe............ Edge pvp set ....awesome:)

Edge pvp set ....awesome:) LoL... This is why it is totally viable for PVP people to wear PVP gear in OPs... And also why PVE people should actually try and do WZs properly... You get more Comms for a win than a loss... So they could gear up much faster... Plus if they wanted to PVP they would have the PVP gear... Then the gearing in PVP issue would be solved Edited November 19, 2015 by Icykill_
