ParadoxicVirus Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Okay people! Somedays ago i got this message in my mail. "Dear Vesuvius_Vesania, My name is Darren from Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Customer Service. I have responded to your query in-game and for your convenience I have included a summary of the response below in case you are unable to access the in-game mail at the moment. After an investigation into your quest log I have been able to confirm that you have been affected by this severe unfortunate bug, I have re-added the quest Ambush! To your quest log and you should now be able to proceed. To make up for the delay it took to get back to you I have added a total of 500 Cartel Coins to your account, I do hope this gesture makes up for your loss of time and I am glad I could get it fixed for you. At BioWare and EA, we strive to provide you with the world's best customer experience for the world's best games and we would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have, as we're committed to making sure you always have a personal and positive connection to our game, our people, and our community. Thank you for playing Star Wars: The Old Republic. Regards, Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Customer Service" They finally fixed this issue. Class quest appeared again in my mission log. It spend almost 3 weeks. ===Updated 26/10/2015=== Greetings Toccs, My name is Liam from Star Wars: The Old Republic customer service and i have reviewed your in-game ticket concerning your class mission disappearing. Firstly, i would like to apologize for the delay in responding to your case. We have received a large influx of tickets recently and i can assure you that we are working to respond to all of these as quickly as possible. As a good will gesture for the delay in getting back to you I've added some extra Cartel Coins to your balance. (100 Coins) Please find that when you next log into Star Wars: The old Republic with your character Toccs, they have been re-granted the missing class mission Ambush!. The mission steps have been reset and i can appreciate that this may be inconvenient given the progress you have made, however this was an unavoidable side effect of the mission disappearing. Following the mission steps now should let you continue your adventures normally. If you continue to experience active class missions disappearing or older class missions reappearing, let us know as soon as possible and please refrain from attempting to progress any while we investigate. Thank you again for reporting this incident and also for your patience while i reviewed your ticket. Should you require assistance with any other issues in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Kind regards, Liam So some people get compensation for this bug but others don't? that's a bit messed up, especially since you can verify if people are really affected by the bug or not. I sat since 4.0 was released missing the same exact mission. but no compensation. 4.0.1 didnt fix it neither did 4.0.1a, but finally this last patch return my quest. But I heard there are those who get compensated. There is a thread with over 21 pages of replies of people having this bug, 2 replies out of those 21 pages claimed to have received compensation. Where is compensation for the rest of us who waited? What about those who are still with out a class mission? And if these 2 reports are false, will there be any reprimand? Ruskaeth Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 To be blunt, you our out of your mind if you think customer service is fair and square. It has always been matter of who you are dealing with, to be more specific, with whom you have the luck or bad luck to deal with. I've seen and heard about of many examples where people have sent ~identical requests because of a bug and have had different people deal with those only to come out with different CS response and action. IMHO, it's been horribly unbalanced with SWTOR CS.

I'm sure if enough people stand behind this outrage and demand fair treatment something will be done about it. Edited November 18, 2015 by ParadoxicVirus
ParadoxicVirus Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Its a sad day when the demand for fair treatment falls silent so quickly.
Ruskaeth Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Here is an analogy for you! SWTOR CS, especially answers to ingame tickets, is just as RNG as the CM packs the company sells.

SWTOR CS, especially answers to ingame tickets, is just as RNG as the CM packs the company sells. Sigh, no wonder nothing ever changes, too many people give up with out even trying. If you cant stand up then just fall forever like a pathetic piece of stone. FYI the moment we let a support team behave in a RNG manner is the moment there is no point to having one. From my understanding of the purpose of a support team, it is suppose to provide consistent and regulated support. You expect the same thing from your healers and your tankers and your dps in a group or Ops team. I understood your perspective but your comments alone make it clear you couldn't careless for mine. But at least you stood up. Edited November 18, 2015 by ParadoxicVirus
