Hi,

I've been playing for a little over a week and paid the 30 dollars for a 60 day sub. I was having soooo much fun, and I've dropped some dollars on Cartel Coins too just to add to the enjoyment and immersion. I don't know what is going to happen if I ever get back into the game, but I'm worried about it, reading other posts. I did think that I was able to level my character pretty fast, but loved the story (Agent).

Right now I have to re-download after yesterday's patch and it is taking DAYS! I'm really disappointed that I paid to not play. I don't know how much longer it will take...I think I might have to reinstall. It seems that the company is very quiet about this too, which makes me want to not give them more money. If this is the way the company treats the game and players, as it appears from reading other posts, then I'm afraid I may have to just walk away from Star Wars, disappointed. We'll see if I can even get it reloaded. I like to give everyone a second chance, but it sounds like the company has had many of those.

-PS, If any of my guild mates are reading, I'm sorry I couldn't get in to say hi.

It took me 7 hours to patch, but I have no clue to what the expected amount of hours is, only that this is not the norm for patches in this game.

Regarding some players anger on the forum I would advise you not to form your own opinion from what you read, but rather from playing the game.

Here's my 2 cents on leveling, since that's what you mention. It is still a breeze!! However some mobs might actually post a wee challenge now and you´ll soon realize that getting attention of 3+ mob groups with some Strong and an Elite might show on your health bar, if not paying attention.

You've joined a game in which this is a known issue, but which the devs quietly ignore, likely because it would be expensive to fix and its only return would be a quality of life improvement for the players. QoL doesn't translate directly into revenue, and someone there has run the numbers and found that they aren't losing subscriptions over it, so nothing is done.

If it's any consolation, we all dislike it, and we all wish they'd fix it, but the odds are that they won't and they're going to keep pretending they don't hear us complaining.
