rethrox Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Maybe the nerf to companions was done, so peps would unsub and buy battlefront. Then after enough sales were made, they would buff it back up a bit. I think this is the case. It just came out.

I wouldn't spend money on SW: Battlefront even if someone put a gun to my head and said they'd blow my brains out if I didn't.

Maybe i'm grasping at straws here.

Actually what I find funny is that they screwed this up right after Fallout 4 comes out and AC Syndicate comes out on like the 19th or 20th for PC.

Angry Joe pretty much summed up one of the main reasons why I'm not buying battlefront with his rant (which will not be linked here, due to profanity) over the Season Pass. Maybe I'll consider it if/when it shows up for free on Games with Gold, but other than that, I'm not planning on buying it.

The sheer fact they had the nerve to charge $59.99 for the Standard, $69.99 for the Deluxe, and then want to charge you an added $50 for the season pass made any chance of me buying that game go right out the window

Not sure though. And the Deluxe edition and season pass are optional, if you don't like it, don't buy it. And most of the DLC's for whatever game you look at, are not free.

I've NEVER payed $50 for a season pass.
geschmonz Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I would not play battlefront even if they would shutdown the swtor realms for its release month. I am a rpg player and have no fun in playing brainless instagib-shooters.
Shoraan Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 If they really wanted to encourage people to go and play Battlefront they wouldn't have done Revenge of the Revanites for Conquest this week. Having said that, I have no idea how one guild managed to get almost 1 million conquest points within less than 10 hours. It's obviously not crafting, so how do they do that? Rotating alts with a lockout for the last boss of the relevant ops?

iankalo Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Battlefront is different game type. You can say "Neff was done to sell FIFA 16" aswell.

Have enough people doing it in your guild and you can rack up conquest points easy. Also, if you have a lot of PVPers in your guild, they tend to rack up a lot of conquest points.

bluroq Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Battlefront would have to be appealling in some way then. It's one of the worst shooters I have played ever, even as a COD clone, with worse gameplay. I would rather play COD. the lightsaber combat: a joke, the reason that they didnt show it in the first trailers. This is just one thing, the game fails in all categories. EA is just a fail company overall. EA logo on the box, dont buy.
