TheDurtyCurty Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I got the "A Shrouded Vigil" achievement in a star fortress run. Does anyone have any idea who the "friend" is that is referenced? Also Does anyone else wish they could dump their personal star ship for another or at least just chill in the Gravestone?
TheDurtyCurty Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 I guess I don't know who that is.
tmwfte Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I guess I don't know who that is. How do you even have the Marcrobinoculars if you don't know who the Shroud is?
AlrikFassbauer Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I just mis-read this as "a shrouded virgin ?" Well, that would be appropriate, though.
jgoldsack Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I've looked fro him in the last 6 I have done, but have not found him. I suppose one has to have finished the Macrobinoculars quest line.. which I believe I did, but it has been 2+ years or so... is there a way to tell?

Do you still have the macrobinoculars as a quest item? (If so, right click on them and if they don't become an ability, you didn't complete it)
Kalabakk Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Well, do you still have the quest in your log? Do you still have the macrobinoculars as a quest item? (If so, right click on them and if they don't become an ability, you didn't complete it) For clarification, when you say you need to have completed the quests, does that include the heroics at the end? When you refer to having the macrobinoculars as a quest item, do you mean they should appear under, say, the General section in my Abilities window?
iacon Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) If you have beaten the Shroud (which means completed the Heroic 4 at the end) and have the macrobinoculars available in your abilities menu then you have completed the story line. Then, the droid for that particular achievement in KotFE should be visible out a window. Edited November 25, 2015 by iacon

Then, the droid for that particular achievement in KotFE should be visible out a window. bear in mind, he doesn't show up in every star fortress run. you may need to run a whole bunch before you find him hanging around (I think it took me 7? or 8? something like that)
