lightningseven Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Since in KOTFE we are now building our own alliances of followers, and what not, COULD IT NOT be possible that at some point in the future (if we decide this in our story play) that we could eventually be tasked or feel compelled (in our character) to start AMASSING our OWN ARMIES and/or FLEETS as well? Right now each player after level 16-20 or so, gets their own little space winnebago type personal space ship. WHY NOT UPGRADE us after we get into KOTFE or so, and make that ESCAPE POD in our ship actually work in a new turn of events that later earns us a DREADNOUGHT CRUISER (similar in size to the FLEET ships / Guild ships / CAPITAL ships, or the like?) WE SHOULD be "rising up in the world" so to speak. So is it NOT TIME for us to start COMMANDING ARMIES and become ADMIRALS of a sort, too? Of course that does not mean we cannot still do PVE single or group combat etc.... But I think it is time for us to start moving up in the Universe. What do people say about ONE DAY operating OUR OWN BATTLESTATION? (not quite the Death Star but on the same order? Say, 20, 30 levels from maximum point in game, right now?) THE NEW Star Wars MOVIE (and the old SW classics) ALREADY show this. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (no worries, no real spoilers here)

Once you're in KotFE, when you go almost anywhere in the galaxy, it's somewhere at least monitored by the Zakuul forces, and you want to show up in a major-sized warship? I thought it was suspect when Garza sends the trooper to Nar Shaddaa. There you are, a top Special Forces commander, sent to a politically-sensitive powder-keg, and you arrive in a small warship on what amounts to a hunt-and-take-revenge mission... Your suggestion would be many, many times worse. And from a practical point of view, I've never heard of anyone who likes the orbital stations, but a major chunk of hardware like you're suggesting would have to dock in orbit (despite where you park the Cenotaph, ... er ... Gravestone(1)). (1) In French, they called it Cénotaphe, which translates as Cenotaph (empty tomb). I think this is a much better name for it.
