Ashember Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) I have played since Beta. I relied on my crew skills along the way, for pretty much every class.. I have every crew skill to 500 now my Cybertech for instance has been stripped of it's key crafting.. it seems so useless now.. I don't' do space battles any longer. The stronghold and conquest is on every crew skill I find gadgets + grenades useless; as I always have, and that leaves nothing the mods are there but they have it so mixed up not I'm unhappy with the organization of it all in the Archive I find it exasperating just working with it. I would love to use the crew skills some one help me redefine what they are maybe some insight on the new direction.. I maybe just being a little hard on the system.. but it worked before and now it just seems they made changes just to make changes. Edited November 14, 2015 by Ashember

Hluill Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Cybertech is definitely not as useful as it was pre 4.0. I had three of them specializing in the different stats, but now there's just Mastery. Now Synthweavers and Armortechs make Armorings, but Cybertechs get to make Enhancements. And my Artificer now can make Artifacts for all levels. Augments are a confusing mess for me so far. I guess it kinda evens out.

One that has and will continue to improve my station in the game and that I can sometimes use to make a credit or three. My next goal is to make myself a set of the blue 64 gear to use. Once I add my own legacy-crafted (if not self-crafted) mods using self-crafted kits then it will be better than my current gear (self-crafted custom armor using the best mods I could buy.... What was on the fleet was better than what I could craft myself at thsi time, so....). After that? Working on getting the conquest materials so that I can craft myself the purple 65 gear. The gear is a bad look for my main, a commando (though it could serve as "off duty" or at least more casual military wear), but hey... I can, and have, crafted other gear that I use for my appearance tabs. I wish that my armstech could craft some smaller cannons. I have one that I like and that I used to use, but the cannons that came in the explorer packs are so much more to my liking (smaller, more reasonable to me).... I might switch back to my legacy-crafted cannon at some point, but I digress... Edited November 15, 2015 by Mithros
