RaiTidR Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I've been subbed for a few months and just forgot to play until I read that the new Fallen Empire stuff was Solo based which I liked so I came back and did up to Chapter 9, mildly satisfied with the new content. But I wanted to go back and check out some of my old characters (I still need my Agent to finish his class quests to get the legacy buff unlocked). I've seen some posts about character missions disappearing and I know the new boost to 60 characters can't do old class missions. But I've had old characters from ages ago that were in the middle of or on class missions that I can't complete. One of them for my level 11 Smuggler requires Corso Riggs who I just don't have any longer. Another in Alderan on my 30 Agent requires Vector Hyllus. I haven't bothered trying my 40 Powertech because I'm assuming much of the same. Is all the old content unplayable now or just my old characters are broken?
SethNinjax Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 You need to reset your class missions in order to get the "guest" companions back to be able to complete them. The new alliance system in the expansion somehow made guest companions disappear on story quests in progress so the reset button on the quest page will generally fix it.
iacon Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) The original companions only go away on toons that have started/done the KotFE story. I did KotFE on one toon and the others still have their original companions. They changed how to summon them, though, N is the default for the new companion window. It is split away from the crafting window which is B by default. Edited November 13, 2015 by iacon
RaiTidR Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 I'll take a look at that reset thing, I've only done Fallen Empire on 1 toon and I created a lvl 60 toon but haven't done it on them all of my other characters seem affected by this "no old companions" issue, unless they are on their ship or looking at the crafting window.
