It's the same thing that any MMO has to offer at max level.

 

1. Dailies.

2. Dungeons.

3. Raids.

4. PvP.

5. Collecting weapons/armor that you might not have, either from the AH or from drops.

6. Maxing a crafting skill.

7. Guild stuff, normally a part of 1-6 but can also include Conquest stuff.

8. Rep Grinds.

9. Events.

 

With the added options that not every MMO has...

 

1. Strong Hold.

2. Maxing Companions.

3. Collecting all the Companions.

 

If all of that isn't enough for you, then you probably aren't hooked by the game or actually like end game content in MMO's.

I spend alot of time grinding items to raise influence with my alliance.

 

That takes alot of time, especially if you intend to do it with more character then one.

Is there such a thing? no loots on solo dungons/raids, been there/done that on KOTFE to chapture 9. anything else am I missing?

 

It's the same problem with many other games. Players burn through content faster then people can put it up. I think it was smart if they had finished other chapters to slowly leak the rest over months. I love playing personally for leveling up through PVP. Problem is with finishing content and yelling "done" you are not actually racing against anyone.

Once I reached 65, I still had 6 more chapters to go in the expansion.:p

 

There's a lot to do in endgame, unless you've already done all the ops and fps and geared your character completely, maxed out your alliance and companion influence, decorated your SH, got all the ranked gear with augments, got all 16 advanced classes done, explored all areas, found all achievements, maxed out rep with various factions such as Rishi, Voss, Makeb, Yavin... oh and there's events to do. I've even probably missed some things too. Granted, you might have finished it all or not interested. Good luck.

Have you done all the Stellar Fortresses, once against the Ephemeris, once to destroy it?

 

Have you soloed them all? (I punished the Voss Exarch for being, well, there. That was a tough fight.)

 

Have you soloed them all without clicking the buff stations?

 

Have you fully geared yourself?

 

There's loads of stuff to do.

About why there's no option on which crafting skill you want maxed out when you use that level 65 boost. it's either armortech or synthweaving, and even then, you don't get an option on those either. and maxing out armors/weapons?? have you've seen the prices for just 1 level 65 mod/enhancement?

If crafting is your thing, and you have an instant 60 char. There is an easy fix for being 'stuck with synth or armor' as your crafting hobby.

 

Press your B key, this will open your crafting window. Now at the top of this crafting window is a list of skills. They should be listed as

 

Synthweaving 500/500

Underworld Trading 500/500

Archaeology 500/500

 

Now each of those I listed above have an X near them. If you really really hate Synthweaving and you want something like cybertech... click that X.

 

This will helpfully remove the skill from your crew tab. You may now go to Fleet and train a new skill. Of course it will be skill rank 1/500. But you wanted something to do right?

Why would you submit a ticket about something CS has no control over? What do you expect them to do, yell at the devs for you?

 

Sorry you are disappointed, cancel the skills you don't want and train up what you do.

As someone listed, there are a lot of things to do at max level.

 

The problem comes if you have been playing swtor a while or since launch.

 

All the expansion brought was a very short story and one new FP that quickly becomes boring. The rest for our guild has ran the game so much it was boring before this patch.

 

So now, there is little to do at max level we haven't already done from 1-4 years ago. It's a terrible boring time in swtor right now.

you do have the option non force users always get Armourtech ...force users always get synthweaving

 

agree with you though that we should be able to choose what crafting skills we want maxed out since were paying for the boosted class.Instead of submiting a ticket which will fall on deaf ears,start a topic in the suggestion section and see if others think the same and maybe BW will take note

Are you kidding me? You feel like you have nothing to do at 65? I don't believe you...there's a freaking **** ton to do!

he needs to rephrase it.

he meant probably to "meaningful, enjoyable and interesting things to do". because right now after you finished 9 chapters \ alerts and rasied influence to 20 on your alliance nothing interesting to do.

it's borrrrrrrrring.

 

if you like me played since 2012 you probably finished every quest chain in this game and did most of the interesting things there are to do. so unless it's new player which just starts the game for the first time then no... there is nothing to do at 65.

problem is not the grinding...

it's that grinding have no meaning.

 

I'll give eve online as an example,

I played back at the day in eve online as miner... this is the most boring activity in any game to date.

but through grinding (mining ores) I've accumulated enough resources which I've sold to gain myself loads of money that I could use to upgrade my mining ship and get more ships spread around the Eve galaxy so I'll be able to quickly move from one spot to another without any trouble.

 

why would I want influence 50 on more then 1 companion? why would I want min maxed 224 pve set where I can do almost everything fine with 220 set or even 216 non set gear.

Why decorate my strongholds if beside me no one visit them? 500 urns and I'm done for bonuses.

why get reputation if I son't need the title nor the items on the rep vendor...

 

in swtor grind means nothing.... I feel like I'm running and staying in place... there is no point, also worst of all it's not fun.

with level scale and imba companions nothing is challenging anymore its plain boring.

Based on official statements, this is working as intended. The crafting skills on a token 60 were stated to be prechosen.

Meaning? This is a video game dude, there's no meaning to anything you do. You grind to waste time...that's how MMOs function. Grind for rep, grind for gear, grind for $...

This is a story oriented game right?

so give me a reason to do something.

 

Example,

Raising my alliance to influence 20 had nice touch as the instance changed accordingly, I was rewarded every few levels and some npcs had new dialogs.

 

Grinding reputation for example... why? it is not acknowledged anywhere in the game... it's not giving you access to some spicy lore... nothing.

Unless you want specific item from rep vendor (which probably exists on gtn in cartel pack version) there is really no reason to do that.

 

Grinding achievements, beside those which gives cartel coins, what's the point?

Let's take eve online which is pvp oriented space\economic simulator where there is no story.

As it is a sandbox I'll grind whatever I want but for my own reasons, I can grind kills for example in order to show myself as competent pvp'er and get into major pvp corps.

Or I can grind missions \ loot \ resources in order to support some economic or other venture.

Let's take an old game... Neverwinter Nights (The bioware rpg). before mmo were the thing we used to play on persistent worlds which were player made servers in Neverwinter nights.

 

I remember playing in 2 distinct servers.

1. Bastion of War which was mother of all pvp servers with 2 teams you only picked one and sticked with it. there were LOADS of maps rotating each round and you grinded to get better gear and increase you levels because it was a must. it was enjoyable. It didn't felt like a grind.

 

2. Cerea - this was an rp server which I played on for years. you made you character and you did all the missions in the not only because you wanted loot or level up but because it was interesting and fun. Also the server creator added content according to players interaction and choices in the server.

So one day there was a city next day an invading army conquered it and the entire place is changed.

 

in swtor it's static state of teh galaxy all the time. no matter what I'll do or grind it doesn't feel to have any meaning. the process is not enjoyable.

 

They promised story content but it's direly lacking in story right now and every other department in the game beside story is jut plain boring.

They did. You're building an alliance. Your influence is building trust. PvP is a wargame. Ops, Heroics and FPs are uprisings...that happen while you wait.

I like it when you quote one sentence and ignore everything else. in my previous posts I gave various examples.

if you are not content with them and still interested to hear my opinion please elaborate on a specific point I made which you are not agreeing with.

 

In other words "I'm bored because I am not interested in doing any of the stuff that you have available in the game, give me something to do or I'm leaving." That's the way every game is to someone.

I am interested in many activities in the game but I find there is no point or enjoyable parts to do them.

for example I find that gearing for pve is rather waste of time right now. I got full 216\220 set with tokens (those with the 7 set bonus) on my first week after 4.0 .

then you get the personal loot of 216 \ 220 stuff and loads of crystals.

after week or two I'm suddenly in good enough gear which I am not bothered anymore with min\maxing anything or making sure I won't miss a weekly or two.

 

Then you take into account they said this expanion will focus on story,

you finish KOTFE in 10 hours or so (first 9 chapters without skips) and then you are introduced into very low amount of story content.

in previous expansions we had various mix of things to do.

let's take ROTHC:

1. we had ROTHC story for both factions which was different and each class got unique treat.

2. we had makeb staged weekly.

3. we had makeb planet quests with daily missions \ datacrons and various exploration options.

4. we got the macrobinoculars line and seeker droid line which beside being kinda fun and interesting story wise added group content, exploration and rewarding side activities such as:

GSI missions

Seeker droid open world "seek the treasure" places.

also iirc more stuff like fp and ops and possible WZ were added back then but can't remember correctly about those.

 

with KOTFE I finished the story, raised influence of the alliance to 20 and did all the alerts.

then nothing.

took less then a week with bonus raising companions to influence 20 - 50.

I found out that all other stuff to do in the game right now are old content which is not very interesting to veteran players which been here for long.

right now it's more viable for me to go preferred and do casual stuff with friends and only subscribe after all 16 chapters are out.

You mean this point?

They delivered it, that's what 4.0 was. What exactly did you expect? They told you 1-9 now, 10 in January. Story content is non-repeatable and quickly exhausted...how is this a surprise to you? You story lovers got EXACTLY what you asked for.
