ALaggyGrunt Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 You can't really customize them the way they are-they only have slots for guns and customizations. So, make their "naked" look be wearing their typical clothes, and have any armor we put on them replace the clothes they came with.
Keosus Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I agree. Dressing up my companions is one of my favorite pass times. I just got my first set of armor unlocked in my collections, I went to put it on one of the new companions and was irritated to find that they couldn't wear it. If we can't have full control any more, maybe make make full sets available as a customization slot?
HunterAlphaPrime Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Definitely want to redress Koth, Lana and Senya. Side note has anyone else noticed that Senya looks kinda like Satele?
Kiesu Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I would very much like to donate Theron a new coat too. That hobo been wearing the same stuff for five years. Plz
Coge Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I want to be able to give the companions different looks. Seeing ten Lanas standing around is immersion breaking. Let us customize them like the old companions.
XiamaraSimi Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Agreed. At least lana changed her outfit, Therons been wearing the same outfit for 6 years now (SoR + KOTFE skip) He must be pretty ripe by now... Still cant help but wonder if its partially done (sanctioned by Disney) To prevent guys from having the new female comps from running around in Bikinis. (They did already state they wont be releasing any more "Slave Leia" merchandise) Old comps are already in game as dressable so they cant really change that without expending money (which they dont want to do im sure) but they can prevent Lana, Senya, and any other "new" comp from being "Bikinid" Edited December 6, 2015 by XiamaraSimi
Tclonewolf Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 This is one of the things I hated about KOTFE they need to bring customization back. If they want to prevent the slave outfit thing they can restrict it (i personally hated it ) but taking away customization completely was stupid.
LordFell Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Honestly, outfits for companions is a huge topic right now. So many threads demanding this, and I'm all for it. ...in fact, I'm so down with outfits for companions I'd like to see Outfit Slots for companions. Unlock those with Cartel Coins and kaching.
SteveTheCynic Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Agreed. At least lana changed her outfit, Therons been wearing the same outfit for 6 years now (SoR + KOTFE skip) He must be pretty ripe by now... People keep saying this, but we don't know if, for example, he switched for a while during those five years you were in a slab, or perhaps he has enough for several of the same outfit in his closet.
Kelsarath Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I'm also totally for being able to have some kind of clothing options for the new characters. I mean, I'm sure it'll be cool when they add some Customization's but let's be honest, even if they did drop one for every new character in the next patch, it would still only be two options for each of them and if they work anything like they used to, it only has an effect on their physical features and not their costume. Besides I have tons of space being taken up by various armor and clothing that I'd love to slap on to my companions and with the nature of the rewards from the loot crates from Heroics n such, I can't imagine that I'll be minimizing the space currently dedicated to those items. Of course, it could be possible that they want complete control over how companions look for an easier time making cut scenes? I wouldn't really know, but I noticed that HK's weapon didn't change in the cut-scene despite the new rifle i gave him. Maybe BW just decided it'd be easier to deal with people wanting more customization options than it would be to change their ability to "control" the in-game cinematic? If that's the case, I'd be willing to just watch the companion's default look, even knowing that's not how they look in my game play.
Exscarion Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 sign* at least they could give the "old" companians the same styling gear thing, that our characters have!

I' m more interested in multiple tabs for my companions than myself. I have plenty unlocked for my own needs, but my companions can't coordinate If I dress like a pirate, I want my companion to dress like a pirate! If I dress for Hoth, I want my companion to be warm too!
TheKilltech Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 (edited) well, if this is to prevent new companions from wearing the leia slave costume... ... how about unlocking these gear slots but adding the possibility that some companions might react not well to the visual change. imagine trying to equip lana with the leia slave costume and instead you get a cut scene where blondie... i mean miss beniko slaps you in the face then walks away and is not available as a companion for 1 hour (in case you romanced her. otherwise force choke... and before getting getting unconscious you notice valkorion idly watching saying nothing and shaking his head). on second thought, options to change companion visual slots might be tied/unlocked by your influence level. makes sense that the people closest to a person also have influence over how s/he dresses but definitively not a stranger. Kiesu Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) well, if this is to prevent new companions from wearing the leia slave costume.. *cough* Its funny how this is an issue now and not before, all the sudden. I mean damn, they still havent fixed the bug where a few male companions wear a female version of certain skimpy outfits. If they were worried about immersion they would have addressed that years ago. The bikini argument is common but in the end, few players use them and to be fair, what they put on their companions dont affect other players stories in the slightest, so what do we care if they want to run around with naked Theron in full covert armor. wilkiealbert Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 it don't do no good to tell them they don't reed this stuff at all and they do what they wont so on that note I like the way it all was to not the way it is now
