Hello,

I saw no one complaining so maybe I missed something. Sending companions is a real pain now that I have to navigate through all of them. I basically need only 6 of them to be shown in craft window.

Anyone figured how to filter them?

normally I refrain from dev bashing but honestly how could they not see this was going to be a problem. How could they think that a sort by influence option was a bad idea?

There was a request some time ago that I contributed to.

I agree there are too many companions in the crew skill window. I nice QoL feature would be to create a way to select which companions show up in the crew skills window. I suggested that they use the contacts window as the UI for that selection

1) Organize companions by influence... Most to least or least to most.

If they can add more ways to sort all the better; Alphabetically, in order of acquisition, most used, whatever, but influence is the most important.

2) Remove crew skills interface.

3) Add crew skills tab to the companion window. The companions, sorted as the player chooses, would remain on the left side of the window while the crew skills would be top right, and then the schematics for the chosen skill would appear lower right, and when a schematic was chosen it would just expand inside the schematic list itself. Sort of like this...

  • (picture) Armor 1 {time}
  • (picture) Armor 2 {time}
  • (picture) Armor 3 {time}
    -- # Material 1
    -- # Material 2
    -- # Material 3
  • (picture) Armor 4 {time}
  • (picture) Armor 5 {time}

{time} would be for whatever companion was currently highlighted on the left side of the window. You could just click on a different companion and the {time} would be adjusted for them.

Might need some work, but that would be my starting point.

The crew skill window just seems so outdated now with the companion window now serving (or at least serving better) three of the four functions that the crew skill window used to serve: Summoning, sending to sell vendor trash, and checking influence/affection.

It's just that one (major) function that remains, but I can not figure out a reason why it couldn't have been put into the new window/interface as well.

For starters, they should remove the influence/affection bar from the crew skills window and replace it with the number level they are at. Would make scrolling for the right companion easier.

Adding a sort by influence would be helpful, as would displaying the actual influence rank under the companion.

Also - this is one reason I have only done the new story once, and at this point, I don't plan to do it on any other characters (and I have a load of 65s already from doing the daily operation).

Why bother to do the story just to access a bunch of grinds for a gaggle of companions that don't add anything new, as well as make aspects of the existing game such as crafting more cumbersome.
