MrNihulus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) So I got this awesome idea for making solo content more challenging, while doing the heroic star fortress is a fun challenge I got an idea that could really challenge them depending on which class they play. So the idea is that it will be like a solo flashpoint although this time you must choose which role you are in (heals, tank, and damage) once you enter the instance your companion will not be able to participate. The mechanics of some of the fights will be varied depending on the role you picked. Here are some ideas of what the fights could be like Tank: The tank will have a healing buff although they will still have to interrupt or stand out of any aoe to lose any health. One of the bosses will feature a group of prisoners that the boss will consume to grow stronger (similar to the red reaper flashpoint) The tank has to make sure he touches none of the prisoners while adds will also try to attack them as well. DPS: For the Dps, most of the bosses will be timed and the player has to always interrupt one ability that could one shot him, they will also have to look out for aoe, its some of the more basic mechanics and is focused on survival. Healing: Healers will have a group of allied npcs that will attack one boss which will give out a group DOT and the healer has to prioritize which one needs to heal the most, and to make it worse if one npc dies the boss grows more stronger. The final stage will involve the healer having to keep him/herself alive for a certain amount of time. So what do you think of my idea, I think this would be a good way to prepare players for raiding and for other players to practice their class. Edited November 12, 2015 by MrNihulus
