Or play with a 2 or 3 button mouse and no hotkeys.

I guarantee that makes it much harder.

You'd be surprised. When I try to grab a few minutes on my wife's laptop, I do fine as a clicker. SW:TOR's GCD is very forgiving.

problem solved..

minus the erp..

I agree with this.

If the game was difficult but you knew how to gain access to gear that made you powerful, hence making the game easier...would you get the gear to make it easy for yourself?

If you feel that gaining gear to make the game easier is a rewarding challenge, could you not also challenge yourself by lowering the stats of your gear to make it difficult, hence driving you to improve your skill?

Perhaps there could be league tables of lowest stat achievements...such as "DarthBob defeated JediDave with only 123 Power, 123 Crit Rating..."

Even though I do get sucked in by it, I'm not so keen on the gear reward systems of MMOs. I much prefer the customisation and story telling side of things...and since I'm a casual gamer who is short of time I like the combat easy enough to not have to worry about gear too much.

.

That's the BEST IDEA I've read in all these threads about "bwaaah OP partners" "BWAAAH Heroics don't force to group with me anymore" blablabla

That might be true. I tried it recently and died horribly doing something I can normally do in my sleep.

I kept trying to hit mouse buttons and hotkeys that weren't there and... It was bad.

It was bad and I felt bad.

Did anyone of you at least tried?

When you above recommended level of planet, Level sync will reduce all your stats to specific values.

But if your stats are below those values it will be boosted to them instead (same way old GSI Makeb terminal worked).

Level sync is about syncing to recommended values, not just downscaling!

Naked high level will have all stats set to same values as fully geared one.

Alternatively, put on Tulak Hord's outfit while Khem is around.

Actually, you are wrong. Planetary level sync is there to nerf us, not aid us. It is NOT bolster and it is NOT GSI terminaling.

Level sync is about nerfing, not buffing.

And yes, just to not talk out of my behind, like you, I did "at least try". I flew to Ilum on my level 41 Operative. His stats are

Mastery 853

Endurance 781

Power 208

Critical 123

Alacrity 21

Accuracy 76

Presence 586

Health 9684

Upon exiting the ship and stepping onto Ilum, those were still his stats. No bolster or "GSI buff" was applied. Attacking the level 50 enemies resulted in a fairly swift death.
