Allow CE owners to customize the Ithorian companion as the CE vendor model

Topic speaks for itself. Toss a customization for the new Ithorian companion on the CE vendor. The model used? The same as the CE vendor himself - a robed Ithorian.

While they're at it, how about they lower the CE vendor prices. It's been ludicrous from day 1...

I didn't mind the prices at first, but yeah... the most recent additions have been significantly expensive, particularly if you want to buy more than one of these items for your characters or strongholds. Considering we were the group that gave the game the initial benefit of the doubt, it would be nice to see this credit gouging stop given that we forked out more cash than anyone else on the initial purchase.

Clearly Bioware have no idea what people find valuable in this game. The new mount from alliance vendor is 10million - one of the ugliest things in the game is now the most expensive. Either they have no idea, or it's done on purpose to (insert reason here).

Either way it's behaviour we should not condone from them. IMHO

The new pet system has been set up so Bioware can sell more customisations for them. When it comes to the Cartel Market, they won't miss a trick, despite the endless run of crappy reskins.

You want ludicrous check out the 10 million credit vendor speeder from within your chapter 9 base, military section. A 10 million credit reskin of a mount which already has a dozen reskins.

Another non-customizable clone?

He wasn't asking for a new companion. When you do one of the Star Fortress missions you get an Ithorian as a companion. He was asking that the CE vendor (who is also an Ithorian) adds a customization for the companion Ithorian that makes him look like the CE vendor model.

Oh, my apologies!

Okay... I should go right to my bed. Enough of swtor for today! :p

Eh, I saw nothing but "*** is the deal with this!?" kind of reactions at launch, and still do every now and then. Thinking back on day 1, and seeing 100k+ costs for a cheap reskin armor set, reskinned pets, etc. kind of tuned people off.

With the recent 200k statue, yeah, it's a joke. I wouldn't say make all the items free, but really, with all the **** CE owners had to deal with, and the faith shown initially, why wasn't that vendor legitimately 'very cheap' with the items? It's not like people didn't expect to see CE owner stuff all around, seeing that a chunk of the original playerbase appeared to be CE owners back then. Maybe this is a sensitivity thing to prevent newer players from being upset that they can't get a shiny pixel?

For the record, I don't even have the CE. I just think it would be cool to see that guy around, especially since I don't exactly like the armored, tubed combat suit for a Jedi.

I haven't gotten the Ithorian, so I don't know; would the robed model work with his current animations? I imagine he has some kind of leap (most companions seem to when in tanking mode) that might be awkward.

It's the same basic frame. I'm assuming the animations they had to add to the boring old spacer Ithorian model (previously not combat animated) should work when applied here, too.
