Ticket created no response - 5 days and counting

As the title says, I have created in-game ticket to retrieve multiple deleted characters, I have provided information and nobody even bothered to look at it. Calling BW support via phone is not helping as they do not resolve in-game issues. I am a subscriber and buying your s... at Cartel Market, that means I am throwing money at you, yet it seems you do not want my money. BW the unsub button starts to look appealing to me given the way you treat paying customers. There is an idea BW, this game is out for 5 years, how about you do ovious stuff like Character recovery an automated process so I do not have to wait for your GMs to pull their fingers out and clicky click restore the Characters.

 

I will give my money to Charity if you do not bother to respond soon...

OK let me get this straight YOU deleted 5 characters now all of a sudden you want them BACK and your blaming BW because they haven't gotten back to you in 5 days?

This and in all the days have you tried calling them at all?.

Well, depending on the charity, I may start to root for BW to never respond.

I have called them, I believe this was mentioned, and they have advised they cannot do anything for me..so unless you know a different number to call them on then please do share...

Well for a 5 year old game not having processes like this streamlined and automated is "idiocy" to put it mildly. Does not matter if I delete 1 or 10 of the characters the fact that requests are rotting in their queue for 5 days (or longer as per above post) is a disgrace. I have not intended to remove those characters, due to many alts I wanted to cut down on the amount of alts I had on some servers and unfortunately I removed the ones on a wrong server, my mistake yes, nobody expects them to restore it straight away but waiting for first response this long and no other viable means of getting help for IN-GAME issues only alienates customers.

You realize the game isn't 5 years old right? It came out Dec. 20th 2011 so it will be 4 years old come Dec. 20th of this year.

 

On Topic they are probably getting slammed with tickets from all the issues that have come up since the release of Fallen Empire. I have a ticket that has been open for just as long as yours but do you see me on the forums complaining and threatening to take my money elsewhere?

5 days is nothing. I've had a ticket out since October 23rd and haven't heard anything back even after two updates.

 

At least yours is still open, they keep closing mine without actually providing any service. Four tickets posted since KotFE early access and I am not even sure if the last one posted properly, it never showed in the ticket list.

Then people like you who need support would get responded to faster, you do not realize that by saying nothing you won't get s... done these days. Stop defending BW for their incompetence.. expansion launch is not an excuse. PPE - Planning Preparation Execution fails here big time.

BW does not care about you. It cares about its bottom line. You barely scratch that. If you leave, your friends will care. You might care depending on how much you enjoy the game. But BW will not care. It's set up, not to cater to individuals, but to the masses which is why they had a mass exodus back when lvl 50 was max. Then they had to get rid of a ton of servers because...by not giving a $$$$ about customers, by customer service not having any way to affect in-game issues, by catering to leetist WoW-style gamers, they lost the bulk of their player base. So they put out new story content, people pay 15 bucks to check it out...then BW starts to make things suck again by making the same mistakes. Soon it'll be a ghost town again because the business people who own bioware don't want to work. They just want to collect money and will find the path of least resistance to do so. Your problem requires effort. I doubt you'll see any of that from BW.

As far as I know. Deleted characters cannot be returned, those go out forever. I remember I read about that in the ToS of this game. I can be wrong, but I am pretty sure I read that they can't return a deleted character. That's why they even make you type "DELETE" to be sure you really want to do it. Sorry matey, but I really don't think your characters will return. :(

SO let me get this strait , you deleted your own toons , but you think that CS should fix your problem because you pay , as opposed to fixing bugs for people that pay that did not create a problem for themselves ?

 

You deleted your own toons , there is character delete confirmation on this game , its your own fault not the fault of BW.

Another one that needs to learn to read with understanding...where have I said I want my problem resolved straight away? I wrote about the first response to the ticket, if it is only with information if this can/cannot be done that would suffice, I can wait for the rest.

 

I think some of the people here do not understand difference between First Response and Problem resolution, as they are completely 2 different things

Wait, so you don't want yor problem resolved ASAP? I don't know man, the whole story sounds fishy. I think you are leaving out some crucial information from the story.:rolleyes:

It's also not their job to fix YOUR mistakes. If your characters had gotten deleted because of a bug or someone hacked your account that's different but You deleted the characters without checking where you were first so that's all on YOU.

In all seriousness I have filed 2 tickets since October 27th and 28th, and have yet to receive a response.

 

To go into detail I filed a ticket on the 24th regarding not getting a level 60 token back after creating a level 60 toon then deleting it before she hit 61. I received a reply that they appreciated my "feedback" and I should post on the forums :rak_02:

 

I had to file another ticket on the 25th, and got my reply on the 27th, it suggested some basic fixes, however non of these worked because my case was different (he assumed my level 60 toon was created as a level 1 toon) so I needed to open yet another ticket to clarify- admittedly I should've replied to the e-mail, but I had forgotten because I'm so used to contacting CS in-game. Still, it's been a week and nothing to either tickets.

 

As for character retrieval, CS can restore them to you, I believe I had 3 characters restored in the past, and I'm thinking of asking to restore a character I deleted to make space (now that I have space again I would like to have him back)

 

Point is, CS is taking too long to reply and I'm a bit worried that they just skipped through my tickets :confused:
