It would be nice to have the Black and Black dye modules back on the cartel market and as an added feature they should be bound to the Legacy and re-usable if you buy one off of the GTN they cost millions and when you find a new piece of armor you like better you should not have to loose those credits you invested into that dye module the goes for all colors not just the black but all of them. I all ready lost out on one of them I purchased from the cartel market. and that is Sad Money does not grow on trees...

Use cantina tour codes. Black/black modules will sometimes drop from those boxes as well.

The dyes that come out of cantina boxes are bound so even if you got one it would only be usable by that character.

It's useless, though. That black/black dye is bound to that alt you made, so what's the point, if my main has this sick *** chestpiece, but level 1 warrior has the dye?

Fair point, and I don't have a solution for that. Various games I"ve played have had vastly better dye system than this one. I think the one in Runes of Magic was the best, especially after they introduced the Magic Wardrobe, a costume system of which SWTOR's Outfit Designer is a pale and sickly imitation. Each dyeable thing had two colour zones (like SWTOR's primary and secondary zones), and each zone could be dyed using a set of 51-255 RGB sliders. Before Magic Wardrobe was introduced, changing the sliders was a real-money action, but MW made it free.

And unlike almost every other MMORPG feature I've ever seen introduced in any game, the Magic Wardrobe just worked from the moment it was released.

There's absolutely no excuse for dyes not going into your collection. Over a thousand coins for black/black.., and you can't choose to pay a bit more to get copies to your inventory? This needs to change now.

BW/EA will not allow it simply because it makes them money...a lot of money. Black/Black and White/White are probably the most sought after and purchased dye packs available. This is why they will continue making us pay through the nose for them. They have to make a profit somewhere...
