runar_smugler Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 So yes..those are the 2 questions I have:) I was in a hardmode flashpoint last night as a newly dinged 65...most of my gear is 188 and some 200 pieces...We did not make it past the first boss, but damn it was fun to die for a change:) But what gear level should i aim for? And where to get it? HC missions? So yes..i looked at the HC mission terminal and i saw alot of HC quests from many cool places:) So are those questrs fun and can they be soloed? I WILL NOT team up with another person for questing..not ever..period...Pugging is for Flashpoints and operations imo.
tcgtqu Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I have been living under a rock, so I am not familiar with the term HC. Does it mean hardcore?

If you are doing HM FPs through groupfinder, I believe you get bolstered, so gear doesn't matter so much (though to answer your question, 208 is I believe "HM FP" gear). Failing at the first boss probably means one of two things: A. you got blood hunt, which is still pretty hard for some people B. you had a couple people in your group (including yourself) that are still relatively inexperienced and need to learn a little more about their roles and their classes. That being said, keep up the great attitude! Everyone dies a lot when they are new to endgame stuff, and 95% of people will be happy to give you a hand when you are a new end-game player (might be a good idea to mention at the beginning of ops/fps that you are new though, at least until you learn mechanics). For your second question: Yes, they can be fun, and yes, they can be soloed, don't worry about gear for them because your stats will be capped with level sync anyway. That being said, until you get more comfortable playing they will probably be quite tough to solo, and will need good use of cc's, stuns, companions, etc. If it helps, think of them more as "mini flashpoints", as they are actually designed for two players anyway. Hope this helped!

It sure did thanks I have been in two hard mode flash points and both times either the tank or healer has left before the fight started because they see New players. ..******es I called them
