Dabrixmgp Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Unless my math is wrong you only need 3. One for Mods, One for Ranked Gear, and One for Reg Gear. They all seem to sell the same thing so why not just have 3 of them?
Zunayson Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 you both missed the important part. In fact, the only part that has any statistical variance: set bonus(es) when the rumors for Mastery were floating around pre 4.0, I was ecstatic that I could send all my pvp gear around on adaptive legacy gear, and just use outfits and appearance tabs to keep off the ugly. It's a good idea, except you'll only get one set bonus
Glower Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) Agree it's just stupid AND confusing for (new) players. For example there is no crit-based generator at Bounty Hunter vendor, but there is one at Sith Inquisitor vendor. So this poor person will spend more comms just for nothing to get crit for generator. With unified set bonuses it should be like... one set for all dps (+2% damage, some crap, auto-crit), one set for tanks and another for healers. Less grind, more players! EndpointShady Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 This game has been dumbed down already beyond belief. And so no matter how inconsequential some of these changes seem, it's a shift in paradigm that shouldn't be supported.
gblXsw Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 PvP gear is dirt cheap right now. There's no need to reduce the amount of pieces you might need in your legacy. Unified gear means less variety. So there's a vendor that doesn't have a certain combination of stats on a certain piece of gear. That's one single enhancement to buy, assuming the crit enhancement isn't in a different slot at that vendor. Big deal, that's practically for free.
