AlrikFassbauer Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Hello, since this is story related, I put it into spoilers : Is it possible to save Jaxo AND the other prisoners on that "prison planet" ? Or is this a "light / dark" thing after all, with nothing in-between ? Personally, I hate these decisions where I have to dtermine the fate of several people ... In this case, I would have prefered to save everyone, just like in the Trooper's story on Belsavis ... Even Esseles had a different method that allowed me to save everyone ... Is there a way to save everyone, or am I forced to sacrifice one of both (Jaxo vs. the other prisoners) ? Alrik

I was kind of disappointed myself, but having had 2 Troopers I ran both paths. And both feel somewhat sad, at least to me... Spoilers below. It's either you save Jaxo and she gets totally depressed, so much she needs psychological support and resigns off duty, or you save the people and get a mail from an old friend of hers that speaks of her in very nostalgic terms.
Frenesi Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 It was one of those funny moments when playing ruthless scumbag leads you to the strictly lightside choice. Girl was dead the moment math came into play. And then extra dead when she started to beg for her life.
AlrikFassbauer Posted November 1, 2015 Author Posted November 1, 2015 Well, I just don't like having to do choices this way, because normally, even in RL, it's not *that* binary ... To me, it is simply adding more drama to the story - but it doesn't really "fill" the story with more "sense" ... At least in my case ... My style is entirely different ... When I write my own short stories, my theme is mostly Heraling ... And I'd focus so much more on the healing process after all of that, meanwhile I'd give *both* parties a chance for rescue ... Me, I'm not a friend of Drama. Or, better said : I put the drama elsewhere ...
