OverLordRAMM Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) As we know that alacrity from recharge cells is annoying as it sometimes breaks up our rotation can we get rid of that? And have our static 2% alacrity back in assault spec? And to compensate for healers we can add the cell capacitor buff back in healing tree. Ty Edited October 31, 2015 by OverLordRAMM
TACeMossie Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Use UL/FA to proc IA, and always use Recharge Cells/Vent Heat immediately before Unload/Full Auto and the problem is solved.
OverLordRAMM Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 I know when to use it but. Why we have to wait for another half rotation till the correct spot is achieved? Better to get rid of it.
cs_zoltan Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 If you don't want it there's an easy solution. Don't pick that utility.

Gyronamics Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) We have to work around it because when the developers were told about alacrity breaking the rotation they could not or did not want to fix it. They knew about it before 3.0 launched and they did remove an alacrity proc and replace it with surge but they didn't make any changes to stop the alignment of procs being broken by manually activated alacrity buffs. I get especially twitchy about healers and supercharged celerity being used several seconds into the pull. Not a problem right now because to hell with the hassle of innovative ordinance, I'm playing arsenal almost permanently now. It's far more flexible, has a reliable defence on chaff flare (either it will block or you know it wont) and I can do the merc raid buff exactly how I like it which is the instant the boss is pulled. That plus the difference between the single target output on IO vs Arsenal is microscopic which buries the only reason to play IO. Edited November 2, 2015 by Gyronamics
