MatthewPawley Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I started SWTOR yesterday and it all worked fine, I used CTRL+ALT+DELETE to get to task manager in order to use Skype a few times and my SWTOR screen glitched to a small screen in my top left corner, but big enough to see clearly, about a quarter of the size of my screen, I continued playing for quiet a few hours and then quit the game. I tried to start the game again later, the login and startup screen worked perfectly and then in my top left screen a much smaller still-image loading screen, almost like a picture came up in my top left screen and never moved or loaded. I restarted my PC twice, then I reinstalled SWTOR and restarted my PC and it is still doing this. Please help! - Matthew
Roalmo Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 From the EA forum: When the Symptoms are exactly like this the best answer is Press ALT + Enter keys then when the screen comes back up , go into preferences and adjust the ingame resolution again. No need to re-install drivers or try and get into the APPDATA area, Simple key strokes will sort it. __________________________________________________________________ SWTOR Forum Username = OwenBrooks Australian (Fellow SWTOR Player) volunteer forum moderator. I do not work for EA. Or: Without your game running. Please click Start and in the search bar type %appdata/% At the top Navigate back from the "Roaming" folder back to "Appdata"; now click on "Local". Scroll down until you find "Swtor", Open this folder and its sub-folders (Swtor/Settings) until you can find "Client Settings" Here you will wish to manually change these lines... WindowX = 0 WindowY = 0 NativeHeight = 1080 (This should be your screens 'native resolution') NativeWidth = 1920 (This should be your screens 'native resolution') Height = 1080 (This should be your screens 'native resolution') Width = 1920 (This should be your screens 'native resolution') Close and Save, you should be good to go.
