Nvara Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 This has probably been suggested 24523426 times but it is even MORE needed now that the cap is 250k influence. Please make it so we can give multiple gifts at once to a companion. Cap out the slider if the stack clicked would exceed a threshold where that type of gift changes value.

Macro is not allowed in this game so they should change something. HOURS of clicks for low level gifts and 0.5-1.5 hours for low-to-high gifts. Edited November 2, 2015 by Glower
JadeBalfour Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Cap out the slider if the stack clicked would exceed a threshold where that type of gift changes value. Even if this part didn't happen, I would love to be able to give a stack of gifts to my companion.

Or at least removal of cooldown and "charge" time for gifts would help...
Honk_Antilles Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Buying from vendors in bulk would also be nice. It's not as bad as companions gifting since there's no charge time, but clicking a few thousand times for companion gifts or crafting mats is a real hassle as well.

Hold your SHIFT + click on item next time!
ButeoRegalis Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I agree. Or at least removal of cooldown and "charge" time for gifts would help... The companion gift should work like decorations. You click it, you get a quick sound effect, short GFX animation and a floaty text, and if you click fast enough it gets kinda cute. It'd be better to be able to use whole stacks all at once. BW managed to find a solution for RE'ing, too. Just use the same design!

Yeah it should at least work like decorations, no cooldown and instant activation you could still use their saying for when you level them up influence wise so get nico to rank 2 and he will say "I think i'm choking up". Not sure if stacks are going to be possible thanks to diminishing returns on gifts, is the system smart enough to know when to to grant 166 influence rather than 133 influence?
CrazyCT Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 How about we just click monsters and they die, too? - I mean, it's not like their not going to anyway, but it just takes so long having to press buttons so many times. My time is too precious to waste waiting on a Champion taking 30 clicks to die. Or with Heroics, they are so easy now, how about if they just auto-completed when you picked them up? There's nothing worse than wasting a couple of hours to get the credits I want. And there's no risk of me failing them, I just don't want to have to wait all that time to get the end result. You know what I mean. Having to click is so hard.

It's not hard but it would be a nice QOL change, for example if I use just rank 1 gifts to level to rank 20 this takes approx 23 minutes and that's if I manage to hit it perfectly every 3 seconds (456 gifts take you to just over rank 20). It's not hard it's just tedious and that I would much rather be playing the story and killing mobs, as opposed to standing still for up to 30 mins just hitting a key or clicking the mouse.

Let's say half an hour of clicking, allowing for some leeway. Half an hour, and you have a permanently levelled up companion that you never need to bother again. It's been commented before, but it takes time to build a relationship - try giving your husband or wife a metric tonne of chocolate all at once and telling them they're never getting another present for the rest of their life. Let me know how that works out when you come out the coma. And it's not as if you have to do it all at once - while you are queued up waiting on a PvP match to begin, do 3 minutes of clicking. When you're waiting on crafting finishing, do another 2 minutes of clicking. Do 1 minute when you log in, and 1 minutes before you log out. It quickly adds up. People are weird if they sit and gather up huge stockpiles of gifts and then want to "unleash" them all at once.

Well in that case I am weird, I always make my companions rank 15 or 20 as soon as I get them, I rarely queue for anything so there is no 'down-time' for me as such

Gonna watch something that day anyway. And insert my comment about . um chocolate. I'm still surprised we're not seeing anyone complain about right clicking on 949 chairs from Felusia Stato.
