Russreklaw Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 My old pvp gear is only 174 with 186 augment. Should I wear this while trying to accumulate tokens for new pvp gear? Not sure how the bolster works. Or should I be wearing pve 190 gear? If so what weapons can I use for the bolster? I have lvl 168 pvp weapon and lvl 204.. Or I could wear various pve level weapons. (If I'm supposed to wear 190 pve gear should I augment it? if so which augment) thank you for any help you can give.

Icykill_ has been experimenting with bolster, but the only thing that has been discovered so far is that 190 gear will for sure get you up to 1936. You might be able to equip higher gear. Note that right now, 1936 is the highest you can get without pvp gear.
power-alex Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) I didn't experiment, because I only have 192+ pve gear which does not bolster well and 174 pvp gear from 3.0. What I can say is that I perform well in old pvp gear in mids. Reduced main stat bolster is probably there to counter your relic procs. Besides, if you like your autocrits and other perks from pvp set, you'll probably want to wear it. And regarding accumulating comms - every match gives about 100-150kxp, so you'll level up from 60 to 65 before you know it. So there's not much to accumulate, you will probably get just enough for stock first tier gear (whatever it's called) Edited October 29, 2015 by power-alex
Russreklaw Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 I already leveled up to 65. I will try 190 gear.. just not sure about weapons. I have the new entry level MH weapon.. but not sure if I should use it or my old pvp weap/190 lvl weapon. I'm sorta new so my knowledge of bolster is low.
