It would be cool to have this as a title.

best would be if it could actually replace you name

Ok would be <character name>, Darth <Nox/etc>

I agree! WE HAVE EARNED it, and we have every right to show it off!!! :D

Bioware, please adjust the TITLING system to make this happen, at least in some way.

I just want NPCs to call my character 'Imperius', acknowledging the character for what he is. To my ears 'Outlander' sounds really crappy. I'd probably be ok with it if I were playing my Bounty Hunter or Smuggler, but not my Inquisitor. Never my Inquisitor.

Agreed, It seems strange to have a character that has a name but no one calls him that. While the Inquisitor isn't running the empire anymore they still have their name for everyone to call them.

I would personally settle for Commander Imperious if possible. Doesn't help that NPCs did that in the start of the expanison

So, he/she is LS?

All player characters have a name. In all my time playing, I have seen exactly one NPC use my character's name.

It was someone on a JK class quest somewhere, speaking Alien Turkey Gobble 4. The subtitles mentioned my character's name. (There's no mistaking it. '"Tikreva'tarsil" appears nowhere else in the game.)

I recently tested out the Lvl 60 Token. Made myself a female sith pureblood Assassin. Supposedly, all the dark side choices were chosen for me... However, as soon as my character is greeted by the imperial who receives her upon entering Darth Marr's ship, she is called Darth Imperius.

Which is actually great but... wasn't Darth Imperius the Light Side tite? I am confused.

And this get's me to the point... I want to be able to choose the title for my character or to change it later through some means (like CC or whatever else)

Nowhere in game am I (as a player), warned that depending on alignment when the character becomes a Darth, it will receive a different name. Why do I need to surf the web to find out that I could have had a different name? It should be stated in game. In the mission test. OR it should allow the player to chose the name from those three options.

Jakaro calls your player by their name in SoR.

OK, so there's two. The other one is real, on one of the middle planets of the JK story if I recall correctly.

The Duros dude in Imperial Interlligence headquarters on DK calls you by whatever name you have. To bad its aliens that seem to only speak the same line of huttese over and over that only ever say your name, and even then they really aren't.

Yeah, well, it's easy to stick whatever subtitles you like under Alien Turkey Gobble IV or Walking Carpet Howl III or some flavour of Beepydroid. It's not so easy for Basic-speakers to pronounce whatever gibberish the player typed in. (Drakensang: River of Time solved this problem by having gaps in the spoken lines in places where the player's name appears in the subtitles.)

Sure, text-to-speech tech exists, but you'd need different t2s for each player-chosen language, and it would need to be voice-matched to the VA...

I agree, it would be interesting. Perhaps not actually replace your name because that would cause a lot of "Oh look there is a group of fourteen Darth Nox's there!", but maybe it could look more like this:

Darth Imperius, "Insert Character Name"

It could be put in bracets to show it was the former name or something like that.
