jedidar Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Your story would be based on Zakull and you'd be training for the upcoming attack to make the Republic and Empire fall!
DOHboy Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Your story would be based on Zakull and you'd be training for the upcoming attack to make the Republic and Empire fall! and how would that work with the current planets and factions? oh wait it wont...so no.
jedidar Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 and how would that work with the current planets and factions? oh wait it wont...so no. It was just an idea, an idea from someone like me, some people call me 'The Mad Nutter'' (Nah, they don't, I do. )
JediRelentless Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) NO. That would take away resources from creating content for the factions we have. A third faction would also divide up the player base. Edited October 26, 2015 by JediRelentless
Cylluz Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Nope. But I'd sure like those saberstaves and the animations that go with them.
Celise Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) if there were to be a storyline i bet would fall within the scion category, there is a lot of detail there that could be filled in about the entire zakuulan society, its ways, culture and customs, its military structure, fate and destiny. tying in some knights and other military personnel and a few droids for good measure and then have them break off but you are brought before the emperor, you have the choice to kneel or not, valkorion does the same thing as he does for the others but the planet of zakuul is in pieces as he proclaims what a shame it would be to lose his most precious empire and then chapter 3 starts off from that point and you encounter these unknown people who help you out. during the encounter later on with heskal and his group, being a former scion yourself, you get greater detail and cooperation then you would of if you were republic or imperial. and the various run ins with the knight novo, arcann and vaylin. during the alliance phase, your old group of allies form together in the warroom on the side somewhere just chatting or listening to each other in animation. so you wont miss out on anything and to cover zakuulan society there should be a prologue before chapter 1 and a permanent social zone in the city, a number of missions to help various people out in need or knights looking for help or something like that, they can provide some background information on what life is really like without the viel of secrecy that outlanders would have. this social zone acts like a fleet station area but on the planets surface instead. Quite interesting points you have here, I agree with most of it, but in the least what if we got a Zakull knight companion at the last chapter of the expansion when it's released, it'd be epic!
BennyKrak Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Your story would be based on Zakull and you'd be training for the upcoming attack to make the Republic and Empire fall! I doubt we would get a class based on Zakuul since it would probably require adding multiple new worlds for the 1-60 class experience. What would be preferable is the addition of Jedi or Sith classes that wield light spears - imagine Prince Oberyn from Game of Thrones but with a Zakuulan light spear
Cylluz Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 'You killed my sister, you ra...' *gack* */squish* Once was enough.

What would be preferable is the addition of Jedi or Sith classes that wield light spears - imagine Prince Oberyn from Game of Thrones but with a Zakuulan light spear with my idea that wouldnt be needed, just an additional area using the zakuul landscape you are in during chapter 3. you insta start at level 50 and you got 10 prologue missions that travels around the various locations on zakuul in places that are already there, each mission gets the exact experience needed for a level each time, so by the time you reach level 60 you would start from the beginning of kotfe anyway. during a few other details provided in the previous reply, it would only need a few extra lines and a few extra voice over. still i wonder if there are other ideas out there that could be better.

This is quite a good idea, I think it would suit it well.
teabags Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 It was just an idea, an idea from someone like me, some people call me 'The Mad Nutter'' (Nah, they don't, I do. ) "mad nutter"..that's 2 negatives..cancel eachother out..so you're quite sane then?
Deyjarl Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 And do what with it? What role is need for it to fill other than just be different flashy lights that do the same thing as the role it takes on that already exists? Not saying no to new classes, just no to not well thought out new classes just filling he same roles over and over. I wouldn't mind a mid range Damage / buffer / defuffer like class. I could see Elite Thug, Republic Police type character. Using a shotgun style blaster. Main hand Shotguns! That buff themselves and allies with abilities and debuff foes more with them. I don't see anything new or unique being added withe the Zakuul. Just a rehash of existing roles.
Mahrdol Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) NO! I have seen at least 2-3 Knight Variations. The pole and shield ones, Duel Sabre and Single Sabre. So lets get one class that will replace all force classes....NOT No more classes please. Bioware can't balance what we have already. Edited October 26, 2015 by Mahrdol
Deyjarl Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Bioware can't balance what we have already. Wouldn't that invalidate this as an argument against? What damage could they do they haven't already done?
