(Spoilers) Did anyone surrender?

I personally lied to Arkann, but I do have some weird curiosity about how this would have gone. The nature of the agreement, if it panned out that way, would've derailed the whole story if it carried out how Arkann said, so I'm wondering how it actually plays out.

 

Additionally, has anyone managed to hold onto their HK55 or is he always lost in that chapter?

I selected that dialogue option on my Smuggler yesterday. Valkorion gets PISSED (Greatly disapproves) and actually materializes in front of Arcann, saying Arcann won't be free of him until he kills us. Then everything proceeds as usual.

Lol I lied to it was too funny to pass off imo, in regards to HK there really seems to be no way to keep him alive there. There's a whole thread about this and that's the general consensus.

For those who are curious about Valkorion's motives, you should definitely try to surrender atleast once.

I did and then I restarted the chapter.

 

 

Basicaly if you decide to surrender, you holo back to the sip just like when you lie, but Lana tells you that you must be a faker hijacking thier frequency and ends the call. Meanwhile Valkorion materialises infront of Arkann, shocking (not lightning) him and he says that what he hates more than cowardice (your surrender) is incompetence (your decision not to fight) and he yells in a super angry voice at arcann, telling him that he will never be free of her if he will not attack the outlander, so Arcann does.
