Chinane Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 The components idea seemed neat at first: Compress 3 mats into one, to save legacy storage. Also allow a profession with currently less workload to do preliminary work for another. ..and then I realized that every profession has its own component pool. Which turns the whole concept upside down and makes it unwieldy, if not outright stupid. So, IMO the best way to fix the situation would be to unify components over professions if they use the same mats. That should raise acceptance by quite a bit.

Second, your suggestion would make my life a heck of a lot easier, for certain. But, using the components as evidence, I would surmise that the crafting changes are not about making things easier. Kinda befuddled by the game right now, so I am playing more LotRO, whose crafting system is almost as bad as SWtOR's.
