SamanthaPink Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) Ok first I'm ok with the fact my character doesn't speak I didn't mind it in elder scrolls like oblivion skyrim and such it felt more Immersive but of course I only played in first person there and the conversations where in first person. Any ways My issue is with the new UI of the new Dialogue Conversations. I'm dyslexic and I can't read that fast, when it comes to the alien's dialogues and I'm very upset with this new Dialogue conversation UI. I cant use the Chat UI Box "Other/NPC chat log option"to see the NPC dialogue to catch up in what there saying like I could in the original Star wars Dialogue Conversation. Please...Please Bioware fix this ether allow the Chat box UI too still display in the Dialogue conversation Screen or remove this horrible new Dialogue Conversation Screen UI and let us just use the Original one. Also For others please Share if what you like or dislike about the New Dialogue Conversation The one where your character Doesn't speak and there dark Shadows bars on top and bottom of the screen. dacentabaal Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I admit it was different to see, and BW went down the KOTOR I + II route with the top text and bottom left answer choices rather than fork out $£$£ to pay for the VA's so a win win I guess.. but yeah, the text does tend to scroll a bit fast for me, I'm not dyslexic and I had trouble reading it before it went to something else
Altheran Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I'm a bit bothered by having to switch from the top and bottom of the screen repeatedly. Also, I think they should avoid to put too many answers. Okay, it happened once, but some have the habit of selecting a line with its number on the num pad. When you have 14 options, it gets funky to answer "14", when you realize you just can't as you usually do.
krimog Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Ok first I'm ok with the fact my character doesn't speak Well, I'm not. That was one of the main things that made SWTOR unique. That plus the fact that camera doesn't change at all make every dialog boring. I fear SWTOR will become like every other MMOs where you don't care about the dialogs.
