They are more than viable now as all content has been cleared by Jugg DPS (congrats again to Kalameet on Revan and Maala on Cora). However, they are not a class that can necessarily carry a group on the final bosses. The nerfs in 3.1.2., from all appearances, makes Jugg DPS more competitive for sure though. If you compare them to the class or two that can carry a group/OPs team yeah they may seem less the viable. Problem is that class or two that can carry a group/team is going to get nerfed at some point. You need to not look at the FOTM classes but rather the rest. When you look at the rest, Guard/Jugg is definitely viable. The nerfs inc next patch should put the OPs issue to bed imo. Tbh my only concern with the next update is that the nerfs incoming to a couple classes will be a LITTLE to much. These things do tend to use a pendulumn effect and rarely hit the bullseye. And at the end of the day, IO Mercs and Engineer Snipers still didn't get nerfed much. The Rav/TOS encouters are still every bit as melee unfriendly as they have ever been.
