Small/Medium Guild Ships

Before I leave I also wanted to suggest that you add Small and Medium Guild Ships.

Not all guilds are big. Not all guilds are wealthy. Not everyone want to have a large guild, but a lot of us would have liked to be able to buy a guild ship anyway.

So, a Small ship with a few extra unlockable rooms, and a Medium ship with even more rooms, then you already have the super-capital ship that you can purchase today.

Any guild can earn the credits to purchase a guild ship, IF they choose to do so and are willing to put forth the effort required to do so. They may not be able to get it overnight, but any guild CAN earn the credits to purchase a guild ship.

I posted my idea for a 'smaller' guild ship in another thread and I'll repeat it here.

I'd like to see a cheaper version of the same guild ship, but it would have the following restrictions.

- No upgrades of any kind. What you get with the basic unlock is all you get.

- No planetary conquest. If you want to play the conquest game, you need to pay the admission fee.

Now, that being said, your guild should then be able to purchase an "upgrade" to the full guild ship for the difference in price between the two so that ultimately you've paid full price for a full guild ship.

At that point, the above restrictions are removed and you've got a regular guild ship.

This would give smaller guilds an opportunity to have fun with a guild ship without giving them access to everything a larger guild that has paid more money for.

A system like this doesn't require new assets to be developed since it's using the exact same ship.

The extra decks are already locked, all they need is a system to keep you from purchasing them and to disable the planetary invasion menu.

Beyond that, all that's left to do is add an item to the vendor that removes those restrictions.

This, of course, assumes that they way they programmed guild ships allows for restrictions like that to be implemented.

^

We want a small and more economic Guild Ship!! like the Trantha Class Corvette for the Republic and the "Black Talon" one (which model name I cant remember) for the empire.

Price could go lets say 15 - 20mil

Allow all Gships to participate on conquest just give the guys with the big ships a +XX% to conquest points earned soy they dont start yelling that we dont deserve to take part on conquest events with a small ship.

I understand the reasons behind small guild flagships and it seems like a good idea.

Maybe they can give you a freighter instead and allow you to custom build it if your guild is that small and I'm not being silly.

I'm apart of a small guild but we have made the effort to get 50+mil credits. It took a while but we got there and we still make it on the board 8/10 for the top 10.

Honestly, I'm not even sure I like the massive behemoth of a guild ship, looks-wise. All that sprawling space and spreading out to hell and gone, it takes 15 minutes just to run through one.

There really should be smaller options with varying layouts. Could make them somewhat cheaper, but by no means cheap. There are already multiple variants of Stronghold so how hard can it be? :rak_02:
