Bobs_YourUncle
Has anyone else noticed the republic has npc's with class label terrorist? Found it quite odd, playing a trooper, just leaving the area you start in on belsalvis and right at the gates I see a republic NPC labeled a terrorist. Did the republic just fail at propaganda 101, or maybe the Empire is behind these shenanigans.
Excise
Ha ha, I guess NPCs don't get to choose their own name plates :-)
PorsaLindahl
Belsavis is a prison planet. Due to an attack by the Empire, most of the prisoners have been released from their cells. The mobs are prisoners. Both Republic and Imperial, and even some that may not be either. But they are all prisoners of the Republic.
Bobs_YourUncle
I took a screenshot, but then realized this site requires a hosting site. Its not a prisoner, its a trooper and even then... I call Emp bias on the part of the programmers.

Bobs_YourUncle
^^This...but I'm guessing you're not exactly paying attention to any sort of story are you OP? Nah nothing to do with the story. Quite simply, its a republic solder defending the entrance to the republic starting area on belsalvis (gate entrance from the road). Its not an enemy npc nor a friendly prisoner npc. When I get home I will take some time to upload the screenshot to a hosting site and link it here. Darth_Wicked
There are two ways you can look at this. One, some developer mislabeled quite a couple NPC's. Two, maybe those ex-cons turned guards were in the same position as Dagger Wing or Pak Taldine. ^^ I favor the second one myself.

This is probably the case since there are a few "Prisoners" in the Minimum and Medium Security areas that are assisting the guards and are essentially acting as temporary guards to maintain security. fidothegran
It's just game mechanics. It has to do with that NPC's abilities, not story.
Bobs_YourUncle
A bit late, but I am pretty lazy... Behold, the Republic Commando Terrorist of Belsavis http://i.imgur.com/c7VjkVI.jpg
