It's Been Awhile

They are in the middle of a communication black out and don't seem to be publishing much info lately. The 2015 Roadmap was for all intense purposes a POS and didn't say much.

Costume designer is due out April 28th and a blog was promised to show up "soon" that is still missing.

Any class with OP DPS is having it's NADS removed on PTS now, so I'd say it's almost any guess as to which will be OP in all reality.

At the end of the day if you RAID PVE - then MERC/CMDO is the place to be. Since they have a LOT of features that mitigate the new operations mechanics over the other classes. With DPS nerfs inbound to most classes that would be the one I'd suggest you go with. (No idea why BW is forcing folks to go this way.. )

Oh ya.. mDPS are screwed in the new operations as well. I'd steer clear of playing those for now as most RAID's are stacked with ranged classes.

Sorc/sage is the new FOTM.

Unload has been removed from PT/VG.

Stealth classes are as always a joke and should never have exsited in the first place.

Speech bubbles are still not implemented.

CM is still awesome and the devs should spend more time on expanding it.

LS hilts are way too small.

Lag is non existent according to certain grps of the community.

Not sure why people say stay away from melee in ops. I've mainly only played melee classes in any mmo, and I have no more issues watching where I stand in the new Ops as I did 3 years ago in the old school Ops.

If you mainly play melee, and are comfortable playing them, then stick with them. I actually have more fun as melee in Ops/FPs.

I mostly play melee as well. I rarely die, but I do notice that I take a good bit more damage than ranged dps on certain fights. Torque is probably one of the worst offenders because the fire is not really announced and appears suddenly under your feet and melee and tanks continue to take damage until they move out of it. Healers are focused on the tank during this and a melee with good reaction time can quickly become a liability to the group.

In SM Ops my groups healers are able to keep me up, but they are stressed by it in ways that make the fight harder on the healers when there is one melee dps in the group.

In HM and NiM one melee dps becomes an even greater liability that stresses the healers even further.

My mains are all RDPS but i did a run through with my assassin in Ravagers and I found it to be a bit more difficult to play. Mechanics are not melee friendly and you have to chase everything around to damage it. To each his own.:D

You forgot about something BETTER THAN CROSS SERVER coming...Bioware claimed and Eric confirmed that they were working on something BETTER THAN CROSS SERVER play.

Welcome back Super. Pick up the expansion and enjoy it...take your time, it doesn't last long.

Thanks :) I appreciate it. After the lackluster event that was the other game, it will be nice to get back into SWTOR.

My sub is expiring a bit after April and I will be gone because I don't have the passion for the game anymore.

At least you won't be let down for the first time since 3.0

Don't get a divorce! You can work things. You loved her once. Maybe you need some time apart.
