hallucigenocide
they allready said in the past that they where surprised at how popular PvP was in this game.. and still they hardly put any effort into it. and that's just stupid really compared to making ops or even flashpoints i'm thinking that making a new pvp map has got to be dirt cheap.. and it wont get outdated once a new level cap is introduced etc.

TheGreatFrosty
You're button clicking and playing horribly.... I'm sorry, how can anyone take this seriously? I feel like you should be good at PVP and have a presence within the community to talk about it. The future of PVP shouldn't be based on regs. thatPERSON
ive said it a thousands times and i'll continue to say it. they only reason this game is alive right now is because of pvp the first spring of the game. without pvp, this game wouldnt have made it an entire year. people are so quick to forget that fact, especially pve players, and they know it to be true (the ones that have been around since than i should add). i was on two servers that first spring, hedarr soongh and the fatman. there was one Ops group on the entire hedarr soongh server and the fatman was the pvp hub of the game at the time. without these little servers filled with pvpers and the fatman (full of pvpers) this game would have been belly up before the middle of the summer that year. Arunas
If SWTOR went belly up and the code would become available to public, how many months it would take for the community to fix all these issues? As for balance, if a single guy like Icefrog can balance all 110 of DOTA2 heroes while Bioware struggles to fix some classes for years you know you have competence/resource allocation problem. Yet people say it is the PvE that keeps this game alive. I can tell everyone right now, if there were no PvP in this game, I would have quit as soon as I finished my commandos storyline. PvP IS THE END GAME MATERIAL, ops are fine, but they get REALLY boring REALLY quick, it is the same thing over and over, no variation, no surprises, nothing. I feel like you should be good at PVP and have a presence within the community to talk about it. The future of PVP shouldn't be based on regs. The avarage players is the backbone of any game. Catering only to the top 5 percent, or whatever number you want to use, will ruin any game. Competitive players need the casuals to generate revenue to support their own small scene and provide new players. Ideally, the game should be enjoyable for all type of players. Lundorff
Very meh indeed, but the game will last a lot longer than 1 year. It will progressively get worse, with fewer updates and increased focus on the cartel market, but they will bleed every last dollar out of the player base before shutting it down. Unless of course something like SW:Battlefronts happen to surpass even the wildest of expectations, and basically drain the player base. I don't see that happening. EAware has a legal mandate to earn as much money for their shareholders in the shortest time-frame possible. I suspect most stock brokers consider gaming a short term investment, and thus they are not willing to actually build a decent game that people would subscribe to for years. A shame because a lot of us would obviously pour a lot of money and time into a PVP-focused Star Wars game. But this is exactly why crowd-funded games have a future. A game designed for the players and with a very select and narrow focus has a great potential to generate a lot of revenue from a dedicated crowd. Precisely. As I said before , this could potentially be the year that either makes or breaks this game with episode 7 being released, and unfortunately with these halfwits running the game, I think it is going to break it. I just don't understand how they can make a star wars mmo fail, it is just beyond me.
GrimRita
Cool video. I wouldn't hold my breath about 'better than x-server'. Bioware have extremely LOW standards and expect nothing less when/if they do bring this 'feature' to the game. It's like Bioware arriving with square wheels and showing their cool new idea to the man who has round wheels for many years.
Nebdar
Nice vid i also agree with 'meh' opinion.. how hard is repaint current WZ.. make another huttball map.... Still some of yo have much more time to play the game then others so you eat the content faster then the others... it is never possible to create a content at 'your' pace.... but i also think if the Cartel Market just dissapear they would had much more time for other things....hey i would even pay 25% more subscription if they just that they wouldn't 'waste time on that' I am also want to point out that BW do listen to the community so if your memory is short..We wanted and now we got... 1. Strongholds 2. Guild Flagships 3. Galactic Star fighter 4. The never ending hybrid/full tree specs balance problems 5. Remember this video and sorc problems(but also the same problem for all classs and sepcs that rely heavy on casting ) how many things that sorc community asked for has been put in 3.0 and you remember that madness assassin was no viable.... the juggernauts when they had OLD Enraged Defense that was only good as DoTs protection.. and so on... I know that most of this is more PvE content then PvP But with 'limited' resources they had to chose every year what is the best for WHOLE community but their work still missing the "quality'(bug). sometimes i think they are ORDERED to make as much money with less effort every year....and they are underfunded and understaffed.... This HAS to be PVP YEAR .... the tournament event even when it was PvE it sparkles some hope.. that PvP will also have its own event... and 'new' content.... The PvP part of the game is very community//other ppl Dependant (something that is out of BW control... who is playing, what when how long, with what goals and effect) so the 'quality' of matches, OWPvP, our PvP experience depends on US how we play when, how do we treat new players and so on.... and if I may make observation the 'Quality' PvP community is improving.. more threads in PvP forums are worth reading, more guides and helpful advices.... less ranting and raging in WZ chat..... So thats what i think....

There simply isn't ENOUGH Ops or challenges in PvE. On games like lotro, they have at least 30 big Ops and such. And lot of challenging boss instances, like world bosses, in between. This game?" you do the same ones over an over an over...till you could sleepwalk through them
