Is it me or is PvP slow today/night?

It's slow. on the harbinger. I'm doing mids atm and pops are taking a while. Fewer and fewer people are queuing up because of the disparity in bolster between 55+ and the rest of the bracket.

 

Maybe I should get to 60 and see how it goes there. I only need my mainhand and offhand to complete my outfit.

Pops are slow everywhere. And when it does pop, its the same faces on both sides. PvP is on its last legs and I wonder why.....*looks at Biowares inability to support PvP*

 

For 90% of the day - all the PvP servers were 'light'.

No, it was slower on Harbinger in the past few days in regs. I normally play from 6:30 till 8:30 pm MST, but it was shifting later and later this week. This morning was nothing but Imperial games, there was only one Republic team in regs. So, I am going to try the Republic dailies in the afternoon. Fingers crossed!

Queue times and even pvp population is diminishing... Bolster is working... But it only works on gear and only bolsters to 55... Above 55 people get extra lvling main stats and also some end game active and passive abilities at LVL 57-59

The fix is to give everyone the same base health and main stats for their class based on LVL 59 and hold off giving those end game abilities till LVL 60

 

Maybe I should get to 60 and see how it goes there. I only need my mainhand and offhand to complete my outfit.

 

60s is also diminishing and pop times are getting longer

 

Blame the current attitude and perception towards mid teir pvp by the new mid players, Bioware, old LVL 55 players sitting in the bracket to farm people and the elitist LVL 60 players who say mids don't matter, only 60s do

 

I've been saying since since 3.0 was release that all these things combined would ruin the pvp population across the board... Less mid lvl players means less people coming through to lvl 60 pvp... As lvl 60 people leave due to frustration on no new content... There are not enough new PVP's refilling the ranks at 60

Mids is where people do and should get hooked on pvp... It is not as brutal as LVL 60 and is a learning ground for tactics and class abilities

 

Bio need to do 2 things... Add new content to keep LVL 60 players interested... And make some adjustments to the mid bracket

 

In the last 2 weeks I have seen pop times on Harbinger go from nearly instant to 5-30min wait in all the brackets... Obviously it depends on the time of day... And 5mins isnt that long... But it seems to be when you are used to instant pops... It's even worse when it moves past the 10 min mark... That's nearly the time you could have played a WZ... Add 10 mins between each match and instead of doing 4 or 5 matches an hour, you are doing 2 or 3

I did more than 12 or so matches in a row today and I kept seeing the same people over and over. Even when the match was against the Republic, the Republic kept queuing the same folks as well. Something really needs to change to make it more appealing or else it really will go poof!

The queue pops are quite dead on ToFN. Already around 22pm it's more than 5 minutes waiting time.

 

Around 2.30AM it's suddenly 10-15 min. And at 4AM it will no longer pop, even on weekends. Game is losing subs and is dying for sure. Summer will be a hell, everything will be like a desert. I guess people will be coming back after the summer, depending on new content.
