Any Operatives experience the perma root to the floor bug?

The conditions of this bug are usually in 60's Imp's vs Pubs. Some kind of rooted attack related to a sage or shadow force push will permanently root the Operative to the ground where they stay immobile for as long as they are alive or until another sage/shadow does the force push again.

If you die without another force push attack to release you then you will be Immobilized in the res'ing area and will be removed from the match.

Thought it would be best to post here so more people who experience this can report the bug. I've reported this dozens of times over the weeks and it still hasn't been fixed.

^ Ignore this idiocy.

It's the lolroll bug i.e. an immobilize landing at just the right time during a roll. It's been around since the ability was put in the game and has been "fixed" several times.

I've had it on my Sorcs and Merc too... It was actually from a Scoundrel... And you can't even turn on the spot to fight them...

The root is so much longer than it should be or permanent... I've not lasted long enough to have another person knock me out... But 20 sec root with out turning has to be a bug...

I know there is a root that stops you turning... But not for 20 secs

Yeah, because you're not being rooted and prevented from turning for 20 seconds unless five concealments chain their crippling slices on you back-to-back perfectly. This thread is about the permaroot bug when you get hit by a root while rolling.

^This. It used to happen quite frequently before when a someone would force jump/charge you and connect while in the middle of the roll. The end product being you rooted to the spot even through death (in spawn then kicked) and sometimes persist outside the warzone. I haven't experienced this bug in a long time so they must have fixed that, but with the rise in hatred/serenity popularity this must it's new form.

I agree with Hei.

They made changes twice that did stop fix the bug from happening all the time. I have had it happen at least once since then and there is nothing you can do in a wz but leave it and requeue. It sucks but it's incredibly rare that it bugs out.

I've had it happen twice since the expansion. Both times a friendly sorc pull fixed it, so at least you can work around it.

I find it somewhat hilarious that even though Concealment has immunity to everything during roll (although it seems like a 50/50 chance for the acid/fire traps in huttball to hurt me), this bug still happens.

Bumping this because its been happening to me in almost every warzone I've taken part in lately on my scoundrel and operative. Ive somehow managed to break out of the root a few times (not sure how) but usually it ends with me being kicked from the warzone for being in the starting area for too long.

If anyone knows how to fix this I would much appreciate it.

I dont know of anytime I have had it while playing concealment, but when I am healing, or for those rare times I play as ruffian its just as prevelant as it always was.

Not saying it never happens, but I feel that its probably atleast a lot less prevalent.

Roll bug?

Just get a friendly to pull you or an enemy to push/pull you should let your toon move again. Use to be worse back in the day. Every time you rolled and someone pushed you back, you would be stuck in place. It happens less often now but still happens. The coding in this game is topnotch.

It's happened to me dozens of times. Getting pulled, pushed, killed never fixed it. Zoning out is the only cure.
