3D Character Creator Simulation

Is there a website that lets you simulate creating a character and then preview what any gear would look like on them?

i.e. you go select the character's species, gender, size, hair, etc... and then see what that character would look like in a certain set of gear.

That is unfortunate. I've gotten to the point where I like to plan out my entire character, specifically their endgame gear... but there's no guarantee the body size of my character will look appropriate in the gear he's wearing.

Actually, if TorFashion had this, I'm not sure I would ever leave it.

Oh my yes! Wasting hours looking at all the Pretties! (sound like Kaylee i know :) ) I spend more time browsing through the Adaptive Armor section of the GTN than actually playing I think.

BTT. There are only 4 body types "Scrawny Teenager" - "Perfect Stereotype" - "Chromosome Check Please!" (female) "Too Many Steroids" (male) and "Junk in the Trunk" (female) "Too Many Burgers" (Male).

So create 4 alts, get them to a level so they can access a GTN terminal (usually once you can get the your Fleet), then just "Ctrl + Left Click" to your hearts content on the GTN.

If you don't actually close the preview window each time, it will keep the previous ... erm .. preview, so you can browse categories and try lots of different combinations of armour pieces and even dye modules :)

At least that's what I do.

Except I would want to play with the different base appearances with those pretties. And the scar patterns and stuff.

I too spend most of my GTN shopping time on the Adaptive Armors. And then buying a pretty poofy pink dress for Mako and LS Jaesa.

You guys make me feel like I'm playing this game wrong. Planning your characters and their outfits all in advance. Here I am just winging it with mismatched gear up the wazoo.

I don't completely plan my outfits in advance. I just like to know which sets I would wear when.

Lyraine, for example, doesn't have a formal events outfit because she does not smooze with wealthy people. She takes the credit hits and more jobs for less because of that.

Alt BH, Sophria does have a formal gown, she just never wears it unless she was on Alderaan to get past paperwork to move as she wants later (never marries that guy. Ew, for her.)

But I like to play around with different looks. Part of why my Shepards are perpetually broke between research, probes, fuel and armor options. ME3 really broke the banks, despite never wearing the fancy full one-piece armor sets and just the parts of N7 gear. I had to have all of the gear stuff I could get. Saving up for Origin Cards on the side of my SWTOR timecards for that reason.

Well, the Serenity Legacy family is about half way complete. :D

Mal and Inara were pretty easy to dress, Mal in Drelliad and Inara in one of the Elegant Crop top variants (cant remember the exact name) Plus one of the fancy long skirts (in dark orange/dark red)

Zoey is a bit harder, but I'm thinking one of the CM Jedi Armoured Robes for her.. Kaylee, is tough, because there aren't any "overalls" in TOR, but one of the Corporate T-Shirts (in pink/purple) with some baggy pants works okay.

River is a problem, because there aren't any Thick Woolly Sweaters, Tank Tops, Knee Length Skirts or "Bike Shorts" in TOR, so a Crop Top and Plain Long Skirt will have to do for the time being.

I really just wish we could swap Primary and Secondary colours around. Inara's outfit would look so much better if the Dark Red was primary and the orange secondary.

Alas, 2 Dye Module Slots on armour and ALL colours available as either a Primary or Secondary (plus all dual modules available in a reversed version) is probably too much to hope for.
