I have built high STR but when I have gear that puts my armor up I switch to that instead. I checked out noxxic but I am still having some issues. Captjohnsavage Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 well I am lvl jugg and following duffy's vengeance guide what I found works for me is I choose str over end on mods and run in Soresu form (tank form) this way I can bubble (put guard ) my healer companion and i solo just fine.. Yezzan Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Soresu is for Immortal discipline though, and the correct form for Vengeance is Ataru. I wouldn't advise you to go around fighting in Soresu form because it decreases your damage out. It is however useful for difficult encounters. I use it from time-to-time situational-y. Since you are vengeance do not use any mods, enhancements that have defense, absorption or shield on them. Those are for immortal discipline. You may however, carry a shield generator with you for those occasions when you change to your defensive stance of Soresu (not necessarily needed but if you think you are too squishy). additionally, you could change your discipline to Immortal but wear DPS gear until you feel more adept at being a pure DPS. A Juggernaut does not have Ataru form, it's a Marauder/Sentinel ability. The Vengeance form is Shien. Personally, I never found it necessary to be mucking around with using the tanking form while levelling my Vengeance Jugg, but that's just me. Also when is it important to use the Item modifying table? STR is good. Armor is OK, but not if you are losing STR or Power to do it. Stay away from Noxxic. Just don't even go there. Dulfy's is your place for help, and other folks have already linked. Unless you're tanking, I would personally stay out of Soresu form.
