Something to help players dealing with harassment in game

As I've had to deal with this numerous times in the game, I've had a lot of time to think about ways to help players move on and be able to enjoy the game without having to worry about some <insert colorful personal reference here>.

To be most effective, these would need to be kicked off when the victim player logged in:

1. Purge all friends lists and references (including crafted items) on the server of victim character's name(s).

2. Force name change for victim character(s).

Something that may also help, but with isolated incidents would be account-wide or legacy ignore. That way, you only need to add 1 character from another player's account and you won't see any more messages from them.

Forcing a name change on someone who's being harrassed feels an awful lot like punishing them for other peoples' wrongdoings.

Auto-removing someone from a user's friend/whois list (if that doesn't happen already) upon blocking would be good, though. Making blocks account-wide (ie I block someone, all their toons are now blocked on all my toons) would also be very useful.

To me, it feels more like a particularly nasty sort of stealth name purge.

Oh, look, he's got a name I'd like, I'll create a bunch of f2p sock puppet accounts and harass him with them until he gets a compulsory rename against him, then I'll create my toon with that name! Win!
