Which planet do you want the next stronghold on most?

For me:

1. Manaan - omg, that white walled layer overlooking ocean blue... gorgeous

2. Ilum - that starry night and alien looking crystallized ice - but make the stronghold GRee tech

3. Asation - love gree tech interriors pleasant change from the usual 4 tupes

4. Alderaan - gotta be said

Would be nice if you could do lots of stronghold specific missions that scaled to your level on your strongholds planet..

Would be even nicer if every time you travelled to or from your stronghold, you saw a fly in/out scene during the load up, giving that awesome view of the area and your digs. Seriously, i get a high every time i see the opening fly in for my strongholds with a new toon, and I certainly would like to see it every time I travel with my own modifications visible.

Can't agree with the cutscene portion of this, but I'd love to see SH's on diff. planets. Of course cue the "you can't have SH's on these planets for these reasons" bunch - but whatever - I'd love a Manaan SH too.

-Manaan, for the reasons you described

-Voss, if the stronghold is at the top of a cliff and you get to look over a massive area. Love the nature on voss.

-Hoth. Much more beautiful ice landscapes than Ilum imo. I just don't like Ilum.

-Oricon in the middle of a lava ocean?

Ilum looks alien, that's why i like it, and the sky night looks gorgeous, we don't really have many night time planets... Asation because of the Gree interior, until Asation and Manaan, we only had 1 of 4 types of interriors, they all felt so..the same

you had Rep/imp = which altho different had a same feel

then you had the sort of Senate/Alderaan interior also used for Jedi temple

then you had the generic interior used pretty much most places, from nar-shadda to balmorra, belsavis etc.. Belsavis was the big disappointment, the deeper cells should have really looked alien built, but they looked standard republic.. even the ancient droids I expected some werid looking droid, and was rather excited to see what they looked like only to see they looked like any odd current day droid instead of ancient gaurdians from the infinite empire days :(((

For those of who are putting Hoth and Ilum because of their snowy landscapes, have you forgotten about the sheer desolation that each location possesses?

If you want a snowy landscape, there's nothing wrong with ALDERAAN

Snow packs, majestic mountains, treelines, and depending on where you place the stronghold, also ocean vistas! There couldn't be a more perfect location for a personal stronghold.

That is, unless of course, you WANT to freeze your tauntauns off in a desolate location like Hoth or Ilum. You might as well write your epitaph on your front door.

My guildies and I are betting on Alderaan or Rishi. Voss is also in there and hoth. The reasons behind that is those planets are cross faction and suitable for habitation, though that really crosses Hoth off the list. I'm really thinking Rishi, as to capitalize on the expansion and give it a bit of promotion for those last folks who haven't bought it yet. At least that's one school of thought. Rishi is also small and all the buildings there are kinda run down two story flats, or one story apartments or warehouses. So I'm kind of unsure.

I am really thinking a alderaan castle, in the mountains. That is my bet, they can make it huge, make it cost, and give many rooms to unlock, making it cost more. In the end, I would take a dirty pirate hole on Rishi, on the Beach if I was able to choose. Really though, I think many people could get into a castle on Alderaan. Hopefully we will find out soon, but in true BW fashion we will find out a couple of weeks before, probably. I think just having something new will make people happy, no matter where it is.

Because the LOOK of all three planets are completely different? Maybe that'll clue you in?

I want a stronghold on Ilum..cause I love it's icy look and the sky. i don't want one of Hoth really.

Seriously how can you NOT understand the difference?...just..wow.

I like the way Ilum looks best of the snow planets too - mainly due to the night sky and all the stuff happening in that very same sky. I *loathe* Hoth. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too bright. I don't want to wear sunglasses in my SH.

Alderaan...I get the love for it, it's one of the more gorgeous planets. But comparatively, I feel like Ilum has more...I dunno...pizazz? lol

Y'all are from Alaska or Canada, aren't you? That is the only explanation I can think of to actually covet such desolation.

I'm from Canada...half of the year I live on Tython and the other half is Hoth.

I'd really like my next stronghold to be Rakata Prime or Rishi. :D I'd love to be isolated on a tropical island for a while. So plop down my mansion and let me have at it! :)

Deep space asteroid fortress or a space station

I'll go along with this. Having 'your own station' would be awesome.

I would also like to see strongholds on Korriban (and Tython). Since my sorceress is NOT, in fact, a Dark Council member (that being simply a story vehicle, obviously - too many Council members spoil the Force), a good place for her would be similar to Spindrall, as a Dark Side oracle/prophet - either a suite at the Academy (such as the one the SI goes to to retrieve Kallig's Mask), or her very own tomb containing the remains of a long-dead Dark Mystic, where others may come to serve her every...um, that is, come to seek wisdom and commune with the Dark Side. Yeah, that's it.

Similarly, Jedi masters could be instructors-in-residence on Tython (background-wise).

I've used my 'free' Nar Shadaa pad exclusively, as nothing else has really grabbed me yet. DK and Coruscant are not to my tastes, and I dislike Tat architecture. So I'm hoping for something with a bit of pizazz.

Nope, from Eastern Shore of MD. Regardless I love those that are so closed-minded they can't get others have varying tastes....it's not the "desolation" and I certainly don't "covet" it...but I guess it's pointless trying to get you to understand..can't fix it they say.
