Fidelicatessen
Fastest way to make credits at low level? Get to high level, then do dailies. Edited February 24, 2015 by Fidelicatessen
ZoeyWash
The previous post notwithstanding: "Farm" low level (Level 1) Crafting Materials. Archeology, Bio-analysis and Scavenging materials can go from between 100 to 1000 Credits each, depending on availability on the GTN. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it adds up. 5000 to 50000 Credits for a stack of 99 Materials can = a fair chunk of credits with very little effort. Level 2 and 3 ones such as Laminoid can go for up to 2000 each, so once you leave the capital and go to the next planet (~ lvl 20) you shoulsd start to collect some higher value materials. Absolutely true! Now do the math and figure out how long it's going to take to get 2 million so you can buy that Stronghold. I'll bet it takes less time to get to level 60 and do dailies. Plus, then you'll have a level 60 who can generate quick cash. How about this option: as you're leveling, get all the scavenged and biochem mats you can find and sell them on the GTN, so that once you hit 60 you already have a million credits? I agree with this. It's insane how much money you can make simply by sending your companions out all the time to get quick 3-4 minute missions in for example scavenging. It'll take care of all your new player needs for money and then some. Most of the materials are going for approx 500/unit, and you don't even have to spend much time in trying to do it. Since the materials are useful for other players, you will also almost always get to sell everything as long as you price it reasonably. On top of gathering it yourself, once you get a grasp at the going rates on GTN you can even flip some of the materials there if you see them selling for too low. I made over 3M last time I leveled to a new server with a new character by level 30 (though that was when strongholds came out, so it might have been bit easier to sell materials back then). I highly suggest scavenging as one of your skills. I know from personal experience that the materials from it sell very well. Especially the rank 2 Plastoid and Plasteel. As for others, I agree with above poster that archeology and bioanalysis sell well. How about this option: as you're leveling, get all the scavenged and biochem mats you can find and sell them on the GTN, so that once you hit 60 you already have a million credits? This is valid advice. Though if you play the gathering right, you'll have far more than a mere million Edited February 24, 2015 by Leimus
Slightrider
quickest way? 1) buy hypercrate from Cartel 2) sell hypercrate on GTN 3) repeat as needed
MSchuyler
Pick slicing as a gathering skill and pick up every lockbox you see while leveling. At first it doesn't seem like much, but it builds fast as you are leveling. If you send companions out on missions, d rich or bountiful. Moderate and abundant will lose you money. Also loot every corpse you see. Most of them give a few credits and also drops that you can sell on the GTN. Yes, hypercrates will work. They are a "Rich Uncle" workaround, but will cost you over $40.00 in Real Life money and return several million credits.
psandak
quickest way? 1) buy hypercrate from Cartel 2) sell hypercrate on GTN 3) repeat as needed Better yet, spend half the CCs and buy the stronghold for CCs. All of the previous posters' advice is valid. The point though is that there really is no "get rich quick" scheme. All the options provided take time: farming gathering skill materials from the field takes time away from playing the rest of the game leveling a character to 60 before working on building your credits takes time to level the character and then work the daily areas My question to you is, why do you want a stronghold so bad? eldefail
Everybody has given some great advice already, and my only advice on top of this is to do all of the above. Pick up gathering crew skills and gather everything you see while you level. Sell it all on the GTN in stacks of 10, simply using the automagically suggested price for crafting mats is fine. If you're a subscriber or don't mind dropping a few bucks at the Cartel shop buy some crates or other in-demand items you can sell on the GTN. But I have to agree that getting to 60 (even 55) will probably be at least as fast and then you can access at least the original dailies (ilum, section X, belsavis, black hole) and Makeb dailies.
