Hey folks,

For those of you looking forward to the Apprentice’s Shadow Pack coming out tomorrow, I want to let you know of a discrepancy you will find in the rarities listed in Collections. First, the most important thing, all drop rates that are in the pack are working as intended. You will be receiving the items at the intended rarities. The only thing that is not correct currently is what the rarity is listed as in Collections in both the text and/or the rarity icons. Here is a full list of the items, what is listed, and the correct rarity.

Items showing as Super Rare, but are only Rare

  • Emote: Sinister
  • All Pink Red Color Crystals

Items showing as Rare, but are actually Super Rare

  • Field Communication Post Decoration
  • Revealing Body Suit

Also, the Black Pink Color Crystals are not showing in Collections for the Apprentice’s Shadow Pack. However, they are in Collections for some of the other packs in Shipment 6, so you can unlock them from there until we get that addressed.

Thanks everyone!

-eric

great qa bioware!

keep churning out bugged patches we all appreciate it.

What the heck would we ever do if they actually released a patch or update that didn't break anything or wasn't itself messed up? I think part of the game play now is to search for bugs/exploits every time there is a new patch or update.

Thanks for the update Eric. Good to know that Sinister isn't actually super rare.

On another note, some people on this thread need to chill out. Bioware could mail each player a $100 bill in the mail, and they'd complain about how it's folded.

I actually saw this post, and thought, it's nice to be told ahead of time.

yup, but first post was blasting them for releasing it with known bugs...world could use more inhuman programmers. I would certainly welcome our new programming overlords but then i wouldn't really have a job. other than overlord maintenance.

Pick your battles folks, I don't think it's worth fighting on every single issue, especially when they're properly communicating here.

So much this. I don't expect perfection; I do expect them to let us know ASAP when something isn't working right. At least Eric got this out ahead of the pack's actual release.

It's just the Cash Shop. Who cares if the CM is bugged? I want them to fix in-game bugs.

NiM Raptus healing challenge was "fixed" in the 3.0.2 notes, but it's been added as part of the 3.1 notes since they never fixed it the first time (fixed Brontes for some reason).

Plenty of Warzone and Flashpoint and Operation bugs to spend testing on, which should be a bigger focus than CM bugs.

Yes, but notice they are communicating on a CM item? :D

Well, some of them, we still haven't heard a word regarding the slot machines, waiting on that one...

It was fixed, but at the same time, broken in another way.

For those of you just joining the thread, here you see people ************ about Bioware communicating after five weeks of people ************ about a lack of Bioware communicating.

People are having at them because here they are giving the heads up on items on which they can make real money, but quiet as church mice often when it comes to other in-game issues. Heck, Tait screwed up the ability to post images in the community section, which have been enabled for years at this point, and we can't even get that hot-fixed or acknowledged.

Um, that was acknowledged...

Um, that was acknowledged...

Not fully.

The post you're referring to was PRIOR to the Community forums being disabled, and while he did imply that the Community forum being enabled was a mistake, given that we've had developers posting praise of pictures in that forum for 3 years, I suspect he might not have been fully aware of the Official/Unofficial policy.

wow yet again something is broken going into a patch that's trying to fix things.

this is why people are leaving the game, we want working patches not patches where it breaks more then it fixes. oh wait it's a cartel market thing. no wonder they are talking about this, need that microtransaction money right?
