Hey folks,

Just popping in to let you know they are still looking into the issue, unfortunately I do not have an ETA at this time. I will keep you posted.

Sorry, this server that BioWare stuck the majority of us on has been too broken for too long. Its prime time west coast Saturday night and the freaking server is down, again. I can accept that sometimes things happen and a server goes down, but it happens too much on Harbinger.

Instead of getting our semi-weekly Harbinger fix ETAs, how about BioWare gets us some information on what they are doing to stop Harbinger crashing every few days during peak play hours, and how they are going to compensate us for the all this peak hour downtime?

I only resubbed less then a week ago after about 1.5 years aways... I feel the same. Don't get your hopes up. This is the second time in that week Harbringer has been down.

i just subbed 2 days ago and its the 60 day card. and all my good toons are on the harbringer

So how long do these server crashes usually lost?

It usually takes them about 45 minutes to realize the server is down, 15 mins to think of a something to say on the forums, 25 mins for a pre-server recovery dump, 30 minutes to go find more toilet paper, 10 minutes to post on the forums that they are "investigating" what happened, 15 minute smoke break, realize they forgot to do anything run in and restart the server, take another 15 minute smoke break, 15 minutes to post that the server is back up, sit around and read for 20 minutes, run over and unlock the server so we can log back in.

I probably forget a couple steps in there somewhere though...

I just started playing this game, if I have to start over based on that rumor... I will be extremely upset. Would not continue business with this game either.

Looks like its east cost/european time

A lot of game servers go off of GMT time if they have multiple countries playing... doesn't necessarily mean the servers are there, It's just a way to standardize the time for everyone.

anyone notice the times posted are listing AM?

You mean the timestamps on forum posts? You can fix that but the setting is not where you would expect to find it. Click on myswtor and find contact information. Open that page and find the box for time zone and change it to the correct setting (which may take some googling to find out what GMT offset matches up with your time zone). This will affect the timestamps in the forums, rather than having a setting in something directly tied to the forums in an obvious way.

In networking if everything is not on the same time, a lot of stuff can go wrong. Just sayin.

So a little over three hours? Time to find a soft wall to bang my head up against for three hours.

The sarcasm is strong, really all depends on which option they are using to resolve it. A simple reboot to clear out an hung issues followed by troubleshooting of any additional issues. But at this point a full replacement of the hardware sounds in order

I dunno what their setup is to suggest anything.
