"Due to rampant exploit abuse we have permanently taken the server known as The Harbinger offline. The three people that did not use the exploit will be transferred to a server of their choice."

We are investigating why the Harbinger went down.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that it's probably the same reason it went down last time.

...and the time before that.

...and the time before that.

You know what would be really funny? If CS came back on and said.....

Hey guys, you know all those jokes about someone tripping on a power cord...... well.. uh.... yeah. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I only resubbed a few days ago... this is the second time the Harbringer server has been down in less then a week. I am pretty cranky about it.

I couldn't agree more, man...I mean seriously, my wife and I returned a month ago since this past summer, and it's been a digital server nightmare; one problem after another. I too would like to know where my subscription money is going to; paying for a service I get barley get or get the lowest quality possible.

Eric, we just finished up for the night, but we were seeing some pretty big server lag spikes on Shadowlands, too. Just wanted you to know!

And I'll bet you it's not going to get anything other than a half *** stop gap fix like the last 30 fraging times...

With the many times it has gone down, has Bioware EVER told us why Harbinger crashed?

Sure they have, just not in so many words...hell, not in any words at all; their actions speak volumes of why harbinger has gone down. Here is a translation of their actions, into words, hope this helps: "Due to lack of interest and motivation, we are disconnecting the Harbinger server".

Ahh, so Eric lives... glad to hear you're ok... we were kinda worried...

Now... about those slot machines...

Do they get unnerfed to some middle ground, or do I get a refund for it?

I'm pretty much to the point that once it is up I'm going to transfer. This is getting out of hand.

So your going to give them real life money to transfer??? Well seems like a win win for EAware...

Personally if the server is this unstable they need to either upgrade or shut it down and give everyone free transfers.

So I just resubbed after 2 years. And this happens day 1. GG.

I only resubbed less then a week ago after about 1.5 years aways... I feel the same. Don't get your hopes up. This is the second time in that week Harbringer has been down.

Jedi Covenant welcomes all and any Harbinger players.

I refuse to go to JC again as thats the server that stole my guild from me and another founder (Dark Enforcers/Dark Embracers) from our gaming community. At least they had the decency to change the guild name after they stole everything.

PETA commandos invaded the server farms; and rescued the hard working and mistreated hamsters. :):):):):):

It was G-Force... That crazy Top Secret commando Guinea Pigs unit

A vacuum tube burned out on the sever computer and they lost the giant tape real with the info on it.

Scratch that I'm sure 1950s pc tech was more reliable than this

Wow...only took you guys an hour. Please, don't do us any favors.

Yea like maybe turning the switch back on? I'm sorry but at the speed Bioware has been fixing things since 3.0 it'll be weeks and several patches later before diagnosing what caused the crash, let alone fixing it. It's not like you haven't left the server up with other bugs.

Huh wonder what this little toggle switch does...

click....

Harbinger powers down.

click....

Harbinger powers up.

Shrug oh well. I will figure out how to get that pesky light in storage bay to turn on one day :D

Hey folks,

Just popping in to let you know they are still looking into the issue, unfortunately I do not have an ETA at this time. I will keep you posted.

Anyone else expirience a whole lot of server connection and other disconnection errors on top of this and then get referred to help pages that are really no help or get told the problem may be on your end when really the whole server is the problem. i'm tired of all the annoying interruptions to game play with no answer or compensation.
