EvenHardNiner Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 1 Cartel Market Certificate = 30 Cartel Chips (for example) *Trade in certificate to vendor for chips* *Cartel Chips can only be used on slot machines*
OddballEasyEight Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 What is this, your fifth thread on the subject? Exactly why are you so avert to posting in the numerous threads on the subject?
Heat-Wave Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 That is nuts, a cartel cert for 30 chips? Really? Then it would just go unused... that is a horrible rate... MAYBE 300 chips for a cert...
howieloader Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I spent 2,000 chips today and got 62 certs... In other words, 1 cert per 32 chips...
Halinalle Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 it should stay the way it is now, only with a reduced chance to win. you should lose most of the time not win. right now it is the best way to farm credits by clicking on an item for hours, not sure if thats the best for a "game". Slot machines remove credits from economy. There's no way to use it as credit generator.

LadyVix Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 1 Cartel Market Certificate = 30 Cartel Chips (for example) *Trade in certificate to vendor for chips* *Cartel Chips can only be used on slot machines* In my opinion, the better implementation would have been to not include any reputation items, a slightly lower drop rate on blue and green items, and a big decrease in the number of purple items. Coupled with an increase in the cost per roll, these slot machines would probably have served very well as a credit sink while offering rewards commensurate to the amount of "effort" required.
Shoraan Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 there are plenty of threads on the forum which prove you are wrong. just because the credits come from other players it does not change the fact that is still the best way to get credits. No, he is right. The machines really remove credits from the total pool. The down side is that they are less efficient in removing credits than crew missions.

Do you mean that: Do 3-4 crew skills (~4k each) and sell mats on GTN for 60k each ... is somehow worse? Only my biochem character can craft 186s because getting purples is easy enough. None of my other crafters can craft 186. Artificer is closest (1-2 items/month) because purple materials are so rare. Edited January 16, 2015 by Halinalle
