Why Volatile Substance should stay as it is...

There are alot of complaints on the Forums about this skill and how it is unprecitable and requires a dot to detonate and so on...

 

After about 50+ yolo ranked games as Conealment post 3.0 id rather have it stay as it is.

 

Here is why:

- it makes no noise and has no set detonate time thus the burst is unpredictable and makes it extreamly hard to counter

- it count be purged with dodge, force shroud, not even through force barrier, and because it requires a dot to detonate it cant be countered, just delayed.

- it can be applied even while force shroud and force barrier are active

Here is why:

- it makes no noise and has no set detonate time thus the burst is unpredictable and makes it extreamly hard to counter actually any player with half a brain will be able to be stop it, it takes 2 GCDs so "unpredictable" is far from true. Alacrity would change this but only minimally. Also it's pretty easy to see on your debuff bar

- it count be purged with dodge, force shroud, not even through force barrier, and because it requires a dot to detonate it cant be countered, just delayed.the problem here is that although it doesn't get purged off you still require a dot to break it, which in most cases you have BB/BS on cooldown so you have to put CD/VS on the target which makes your flash bang worthless for the next 15 seconds, so you either put your long DoT on them and detonate it, or you hope that your BB/BS is active and that you can get it off before BB/VS falls off

- it can be applied even while force shroud and force barrier are active
