I'm Artificer, I'm still buying and REing few items to get Purple versions and see if I can make them and sell em. what are best items that can be good to RE and make purple version for selling on GTN? as for GTN price help, I'd like to know if Purple versions compare to the Handcrafted Purple versions. basically the prices of between normal and handcrafted versions in GTN. how much do they sell at? I think around 5K to 90K? just asking. Artificiers have exclusivity right now as the only source of 186 Hilts and Relics. Those are the things you should be looking at learning schematics for, the price of purple Midilithe Crystals on my server fluctuates between 150-175k each, hilts require 2 and relics require 4, meaning a total cost a little bit above 300k and 600k for crafting them, while the finished products can typically sell for at least 400k and 700k, sometimes more depending on how many people on your server are producing them. You would likely need to run a lot of Treasure Hunting missions to get the purple materials needed to craft them, but it can be quite profitable if you get those recipes up. edit: Keep in mind this is only for lvl 60, I'm not sure what's profitable to RE for lower levels if you're still leveling your artifice. Also may want to check the crafting subforum for more details. you might have a premium on hilts again as demand spikes, but at one point they were cheaper than the matts to make them. actually the green and blue relics were easy to produce and selling fairly well on my server (60k for greens) you could quickly turn a profit on those, but run risk of saturating the market as more people level. Relics will be in demand for awhile but will drop off quickly when demand is met and supply peaks. Also can probably track the prices of the new dyes and see if they are worth selling. Enhancements are going for @ or below cost as more people got leveled and RE'd the items. They will only be BIS for a short time. Once you hit 60, they are easily replaced. But, that being said. Accuracy, Surge, Power, are all pretty much in demand. Assuming healers still want power/alacrity the Quick Savant were usually always popular. You can take your chances finding unlisted enhancements on the GTN, and setting your own price, but you risk A) being too high B) it not being a wanted item and never selling. I think around 5K to 90K? just asking. In case you havent noticed yet, you wont make money on crew skills in general. Almost all items that crafters can make sell at or below the amount you can get just selling the mats. There are a few exceptions to this but not many and most are top end items. enigmacypher Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 as some have said it is hard to say you kind of need to price shop the items value on the GTN .. crystals though are often wanted simply because (especially the older content) it is a pain to get them other than removing them from loot items .. sorry no firm answer save to check the GTN on your sever and see how the prices are but also I will caution you to only make a few or enough for leveling skills incase you end up stuck with them due to over flooding the market.. If players see 20 of an item they will often be unwilling to pay as much as if there is only 1 or 2 (psychology of sale I guess) GL and have fun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
