Darth_Wicked
For what is worth, the title is NOT entirely misleading. Details below: Portrait of my Sith Assassin Force Choke option in radial wheel Force Choke taking place I am posting here because, well, I am NOT entirely sure if this is a bug or working as intended. It's not exactly game breaking or anything but definitely a first I believe. Sith Warriors are the only ones who get to Force Choke during cutscenes. Until now. EDIT: Ughhhhhhh... I wanted to post this in the General Discussion area. Apologies everyone. Edited December 7, 2014 by Darth_Wicked

DogeDandolo
Outrageous! Where's the lightning, huh?! If you're talking about the locking mechanisms on Yavin, well, EVERY class uses Force Lightning to break them. Even my Jedi. Even my hunters and agents. Very eery effect that plays with player expectations to establish the place's deep connection to the Dark Side, in my opinion.

Well, Trooper's use a gun that shoots lightning so maybe everyone but the Inquisitor is just carrying a one shot lighting shooter?

Darth_Wicked
You Force Choke Thanaton in the final vanilla class mission... Last I checked, there's no dialogue option preceding it. In this case, I'm referring to a choice available to players in the radial wheel. As a Sith Warrior there's options to break certain generators etc in the expansion and we use Force Shock to do it. Again, it should be obvious that I'm referring to the option of using Force Choke, preceding a cutscene. I know what you're referring to. My point is that it seems both inquisitors and warriors get to use each others abilities in one manner or another. Warriors using force shock to break devices and inquisitors getting force choke options.

There was this quest on Voss where, due to some artifact or crystal, every Imperial class could use lightning if memory serves me right. I assume the purpose was to have the lightning act as the essence of the beast being channeled into the artifact or crystal, but in the end, it would look like you were just using lighting, regardless of class. Then I don't get the significance of your post. What's wrong with Inquisitors getting a choke option? Why is it a huge deal? I'm not following why this is news worthy? Seems I'm not alone in this thread either. It's not that shocking that an Inquisitor would be capable of force choking someone or a warrior having the ability to shock. I seem to forget people around these forums are devoid of sense of humor. As to the rest, I explained already... Sith Warriors are the only ones who get to Force Choke during cutscenes. Until now. It should be obvious that it pertains to the use of the Force Choke option during dialogue; As an option available in the radial wheel for Inquisitors, instead of [shock]. Lol I never said it was a big deal, but rather commented if it is a bug or working as intended. Other people are the ones apparently offended or appalled that this was brought up.
